My friend and I went in one night to get her cartilage pierced and my eyebrow done as well. First off, the piercer seemed very un-professional and ill-informed. I sat down and he did my eyebrow, which was TERRIBLE. It was incredibly thin (approx a few millimeters of skin wide) I expressed how I felt about it and he said because of my thin eyebrows he thought it would look better thinner. When he pierced my friend he bent the needle to curve it which is a big no-no. Instead of using a curved needle, the hack decided to just bend a straight one. When I chimed in about the needle maybe breaking in the cartilage from stressing the needle he responded with "That is just a myth" As he shoved the bent needle into my friends ear with force he cartilage turned white, hot, and eventually a crunch and pop. He fed the curved bar into the piercing but then couldn't get the bead on the end. My friend had mentioned I had worked on apprenticing in Washington a few years ago and the piercer actually asked me to glove up and "Do it myself". All in all I was very displeased. He comped my eyebrow piercing and gave us a discount however, but I still will never return.
