Purple Haze

Being from Austin, Texas, THE home of counterculture, hipness, and edgy "Keep Austin Weird" thematic living, I was pleasantly to find Purple Haze as I got lost in Lexington, Kentucky.  The staff was friendly, helpful, appropriately counterculture without being total douches about it.  Unlike Austin head shops and alternative gift stores, the staff wasn't paranoid, even though I look like a middle-aged businessperson.  Excellent selection of pipes and other 420-friendly wares.  Also didn't get the heebees from the store, dirt-wise, which is good.  I haven't been to Squecial Media yet, and I will,but this store deserves 4.5-5 stars.  If they had also carried erotica and sex toys, the Plan would be Complete. {giggle}.  They have glass pipes as low as $7 each, and they have an excellent selection of higher dollar wares.  This place could add a hip Ruta Maya like coffee shop and become a mecca for fun.  I have no idea how the tattoo part of their business is, being tat-free as a personal choice.  The little Mexican dude is actually from Ft. Worth, Texas, and he's awesome.
