Best place to get tattoo... I got tattoo from them and I had some issues with it and I inform them about it. Their manager Charlie really took care of my issue n set an appointment to solve it.. Jen did my tattoo and it is extreamly beautiful and gorgeous.. Full of great colors and awesome art work.. She is simply an awesome artist...I have like 6 tattoos from Red octopus and I'm really very satisfied with them.
They are really great place for tattos and even cover up... Artists up there really know what they are doing...Jen is your girl for colors and feminine tattoos.... I can't wait to go back n get some more ink ... Thank you Charlie and thanx a lot Jen... :))..

I love this place, the prices are beyond reasonable & I love the staff!! I had wwent to other places before this one & the piercings were very expensive & hurted, had the same piercing done, just opposite ears, no pain & half the price of what I paid before!! They will see me again soon as soon as I figure out where else on my ear I will get pierced!!

I've heard about Red Octopus some good, some bad stuff but hey for me this is the place and Curtis is your man if you're planning on to have a tattoo. He's really a good artist. First tattoos are very important and critically crucial because they are the first ones...LOL. I've got my first tattoo here. I had some cloudy ideas but was not sure. Curtis made my tattoo as my first memorable one. I asked him what would look better and he suggested, and here's the result. My first perfect tattoo. My sister and brother-in-law had tattoos here and their tattoos came out as perfect as can be. My sister had a first tattoo here by some artist which was not so good but she got it enhanced by adding some more stuff to it, Curtis did it again. So, hey y'all go to Red Octopus.

My first experience  was fairly smooth, probably because my tattoo took all of 6minutes. Charlie did my tattoo and I felt as if he was a cool guy. I have a huge tattoo on my back that I wanted to get covered up, naturally I chose Charlie. BAD IDEA!!!! I stopped by the shop and had a brief conversation with him and he took a picture of the tattoo. He told me he would draw something up and to come back in about a week. I did and Charlie had nothing for me. Exactly one week later I called before driving over and low and behold Charlie had NOTHIING ready for me. He gave me the lamest excuse about being busy that day, and when I told him that he had two weeks to draw anything he went on to say how my tattoo isn't the easiest to cover up. Charlie Seriously??!!!!! He also went on to say how he had other jobs and it's a first come basis. Understandable but totally irrelevant  to my situation being that I came in two weeks ago. I honestly feel like the task was too difficult for him to handle. I would have respected him a tad bit more had he just said I don't want to do it, instead of wasting my time!!!! Needless to say I told him that I no longer desired his services. CHARLIE SUCKS, DON'T BOTHER WASTING YOUR TIME!!!!!!!!!!

Holy shit do not come here for piercings. Yeah they might be a bit cheaper than the other piercing shops in the area, but for piercings, know that you definitely pay for quality.

I came here to get family piercings with my five kids. No I'm not a teenage mom with quintuplets and no I do not hail from a super-cool liberal, laid back family. My father is a Protestant elder and my mother is a deaconess. And on top of that they're first generation Koreans = super duper strict.

I was pledge mom for my sorority during Fall 2009 semester and I have five kids; crossed five new sisters. And I thought it'd be cool to commemorate their crossing by getting piercings together!

I've had my tongue pierced before. I know that it's not supposed to bleed uncontrollably and then be swollen or turn green and purple for weeks after wards. Well one of my kid's chose to get her tongue pierced (we all got different things pierced) and I know for a fact the piercer TORE her tongue from the get-go.

I knew my maternal instinct was right when I thought it was fishy how we weren't allowed to accompany each other to the back to watch the piercings take place. F*CK this place. All other piercing places I've visited, let other people watch. AVOID THIS PLACE FOR PIERCINGS.

If you need something pierced just make the drive to Mystics in Crofton or even pay the extra 10-15$ at Curious in College Park. Unless you like weird, bloated, discolored piercings.. in which case you're a sick sick person and if i ever see you, i'll probably throw an extra salty chipotle burrito from the Chipotle in college park at you. And it will burn you and your piercings. Yea, it's that salty and corrosive.

I just came from there yesterday with my sister and a friend. Both of them got tattoos. The art was excellent. My sister got a butterfly, and her friend got a cupcake.  Actually the only thing I didn't like was the fact that you have to pay for ointment separately and they do tattoos out in the open on these dinky office chairs located right behind the register. It's a new location for the shop and they could have invested in proper seats and beds that other shops have. My friend had to lay across a little bench and an office chair to get hers done. Another thing that bothered me was the fact that friends aren't allowed to watch from any reasonable distance.  We had to wait on the other side of the counter.

Despite all of this, the tattoos I've seen come out of here are excellent, so four stars!
