    Alas.

My nose stud was too long. It would turn downwards and make it look like I had a golden booger. Not hot.

I've been meaning to go to my piercer at home (Chicago) for the last few weeks but I'd been too busy...and then, I was in Cedar Falls with nothing particular going on and I thought I'd pop into the first piercing place I saw to get it shortened and sanded.

Unfortunately, the guy cut it too short, rendering it unwearable. They didn't offer to fit or place it for me, which I found odd. I also bought a nose screw because when I saw how short the guy had made my stud I suspected it was ruined. Also, no offer to fit or place it. Later, I could not for the life of me get it in and had to go somewhere else for what this place should have done.

I also did not appreciate one of the tattoo artists in the back barking at me to go to a different tattoo/piercing studio in Chicago because he "know[s] a guy there that does great work." That may well be, but I adore my piercing/tattoo studio here, and I trust them and they're clean and they don't do stupid shit like ruin a gold nose stud and not fit or place new studs in-house.

Also, their "cash only" sign? Is above the door. On the inside. As in, no way you would ever see it unless you turned around. I was lucky my friend had cash on him to pay for the aforementioned unplaceable nose screw.
