I have been going to this tattoo shop ever since I got lost with my sister on my way to Woodstock on my 18th birthday (yes 10 years ago now). Every one of my Tattoos I have gotten at Ritual Ink, I have---I have about 6. As Chris the owners says ,You get what you pay for, In terms of tattoos. Chris is a lone employee at his own shop. He has years of experience doing tattoos and is also a talented artist. The shop is relaxed and unpretentious...although I kind of miss the long dreadlocks Chris used to sport! Â The prices are fair for the quality of the work. I have sent many people there and I constantly get compliments on my work. I stick pretty much to black line tats but he is also good with color and many styles. Chris has an honest voice in telling you what works well and what doesn't in terms of ink. He is intelligent and a pretty serious guy. He plays his own mix of tunes but if you have a special Tat experience in mind he is open to playing whatever you bring. He can design his own but is also good at giving exactly what you ask for or present to him. Â I strongly recommend this shop. It's best to make an appointment but on occasion he can do a walk-in.
