Five stars for having a Hello Kitty pipe!

Jk but they did and this is just your basic smoke shop, has everything you need and all the clothing and jewelry accessories too. Minus one star for the lady with the long hair  not being as smiley:/

So, they've been slowly starting up a small selection of  skate parts in the corner of the store next to the ugly sunglasses that cost too much. They barely have anything. Like, maybe 10 decks on the wall that are mostly long boards, 5 trucks, 3 boxes of griptape, and only one box of bearings. The people that work there have no idea what makes up a skateboard let alone, know what you're looking for. The parts are  terrible quality. Crappy brand of grip,  ABEC 3 bearings that are a total joke, and trucks that turn terrible for the price. It seems that they  got the parts that look cool but have no idea how terrible they work on a board. Only an idiot long boarding noob would buy parts from this place. It's as if they don't know anything about skateboards.

    On a more positive note,
The people who work at Rock Zone are very nice. They aren't very good at putting skateboards together, but the customer service is great. This place has a great selection of good quality  pipes. But do not buy parts for your board from this place.

This place is awesome! Casey was great! We didn't have an appointment but he made time for us, we were in and out in an hour with one tattoo and a dermal punch. I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND the Rock Zone. Everyone was friendly and I will be back, thank you!

I have been shopping here for around ten years. I like the owner alot, he has given me a handful of piercings over the years. Members of my family, and many of my friends have worked here in the past. He normally has great people working at the shop, The latest set of employees are terrible though. I take customer service very seriously, they don't seem to care at all about it. For the burnout looking girl that is always there with a stick up her ass, drop the I'm better than you attitude. You work at a ghetto head shop, and you deal withpot heads, crack heads, crack whores, tweakers, meth dealers, coke heads, and drug runners. Your nothing special, so get over yourself. Be happy to be able to come to work, and look  like you have not showered in weeks. All in all I will go to santa cruz to buy my pipes/bongs. The kids working at rockzone are a joke.

They are pricey but they are one of the few smoke shops in the area that actually sells all that they sell. I have bought several pipes as gifts from there that are extremely sturdy, i know because i dropped one several times and it was fine. The guys that work there are usually helpful and answer all my questions. I'm not personally a smoker but i have used them to get things for friends and have yet to be disappointed.

Up until this summer I've only gone to the Rock Zone to get jewelry for piercings that I had already had. They've always seemed to be knowledgeable and helpful. I finally decided to get my industrial pierced there and I figured it was an okay place to get it done because they had done my brother's a few years prior and it looked good. After I got my industrial pierced, I noticed that it was done too vertical instead of horizontal. I didn't really care though and treated it as any other piercing, cleaning it as instructed. It got really swollen which I read was normal, but it took a long time to go down and it got repeatedly infected within the first month. I moved to Oregon to go to school and I decided to take it out finally because I couldn't deal with it being so sore. I went to a piercing shop there because I couldn't unscrew the ends myself. The piercer told me that it was pierced completely wrong and through too much cartilage and would therefore never really heal correctly so he took it out. I have to say that I was disappointed in the Rock Zone and won't get any more piercings there, but will continue to go to buy jewelry for other piercings.

I bought my first pipe yesterday and the man working behind the counter assured me it was very sturdy and made by a "top glassblower"

Anyways the same night I bought it, it falls off a table while in the case and completely shatters everywhere! I've never seen a pipe shatter so easily. So needless to say I think I was lied to about that pipe being sturdy, when it was obviously far from sturdy.
    Plus, the merchandise was overpriced.

Tony's Smoke Shop is cheaper AND better quality.

    A useful resource.

I got a digital scale here that I use to weigh gold/silver chains etc I find at garage sales.

Head shops are also handy for finding small ziploc type bags, useful for jewelry parts, electronics parts, etc. Generally I get mine from the crafts section at wal-mart but if I get 100's of something I want to package neatly to sell and they're out of the right size, this place would be my 2nd stop.

I don't smoke .... anything ..... but I love looking at the WIERD pipes!

The place is well know to locals & is a really cool what i call 'fringe lifestyle' shop. I've gotten a few piercings here but the latest would be my nose again-had it once but the jewelry fell out while sleeping & I let that one close.
    Anyway...

The owners a super awesome chill guy & the younger guy that works there always makes it a pleasant visit.  It's your typical head shop...if your into smoking & it's paraphernalia. It's like some of the head shops on Haight in SF.

Ceramic pipes, glass pipes, water bongs galore for the pot heads, meth addicts, and crack heads.  Necklace vials for the gothic/high schooler coke fiends.  They also sell "blunt" wraps here too.  They got the drug dealers set with digital scales, dime bags, dub bags, 8th bags, etc.

They also sell posters, t-shirts, jewelery, incense, flavored cigarettes/cigars, and typical drug user type room/house decorations.  And you can't forget the porn and sex toys that all them pipe shops seem to sell now a days in the back 18+ room.  Why are all the 12"+ long dildos always colored black?!  I always wondered why that is the way it is.

With all that being said I've only bought cheap fake diamond stud earrings in sterling silver casts from here.

A friend bought me a $35 Puff The Magic Dragon glass pipe and case from here for my birthday a long time ago, looked sick and everything, but that pipe lived a short life and was confiscated way before it even got to get down and dirty.  F*ck the police!

After getting multiple piercings here, I find that there isn't much to complain about. Their hours are very open and the owner is usually a phone call a way to do piercings if he is not in the shop.

I've had my nose pierced twice, belly button twice, and cartilage all pierced here and each time everything has been completely sterile. The owner is very careful and makes it as painless as possible. He's also very thorough on aftercare so you do not get it infected. My overall experience as far as piercings go have been great.

The cost on their studs, jewelry, and pretty much everything else besides the piercing itself is a little overpriced. Most earrings and studs don't cost as much as they do here. I think the owner tries to make up for the cheaper piercing cost with charging you extra on the studs. If you do decide to get a piercing here, make sure you buy the stud elsewhere to save money!

I grew up in Morgan Hill and Gilroy, and the Rock Zone is most well equipped smoking accessory shop for miles. Eddie, the owner, is super friendly and very helpful. I visit there maybe once or twice a year there when visiting Gilroy now, and he still remembers me and asks how I am doing.

They have a wide variety of pipes, water pipes (I like that they have/had a lot of HVY glass brand), vaporizers, and other smoking utensils as well as plenty of body jewelry, posters, t-shirts, black lights, pornography, fairy/dragon statues, and I think you can by a tazer there too, if you feel so inclined. They have a bunch of random stuff that is basically typical of a head shop.

They used to perform body piercing there as well as tattoo art, but I am not sure if they still do.

The thing I like about Eddie's shop is that he really has a monopoly for the area (for what he is selling) and he doesn't over price all crazily.
