I suggest if you want a nice fade to avoid this place. They say yes I know how to use a straight edge razor but at the end your head with be more cut up than the thanksgiving turkey. So my advice is please stay away

Yes, I am writing this on a tattoo shop in a mall...really...in a mall...

At first I was skeptical of a spot in a mall where you can get haircuts and tattoos, but when some co workers started showing me some of their ink, I asked where they got it and they recommended this place. I went in to meet David and showed him my arm and told him what I wanted to do, and he was welcoming and on board. We made an appointment for a week later. Throughout the week he sent me text messages of the drawing he came up with and he worked with me to get the tattoo I wanted with his drawing. It was great!
It was a half sleeve that took a little over 2 hours and he did a great job! They are soft on the arm and pretty good. The place plays music so you can tune out and there is a lot of "shit" talking about their personal lives. I dont mind this at all, you may so bring some headphones if you dont want to hear it.
I will be back to get more ink done.
Yes...a tattoo shop in a mall...but its legit and they do great work at a fair to great price. I drive 45 minutes to get here...strongly recommend.

    CASH ONLY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My first thought was "Oh great--as if Fairfield isn't ghetto enough now there's a frickin tattoo shop in the mall!!!"

    But I was wrong...

I've been wanting some ink for years and finally decided to do it. I went around town to other tattoo shops but really didn't like their styles or their attitudes towards me. I mean, shouldn't I feel comfortable around the person who is going to be stabbing me with pulsating needles that are injecting ink into me? Com'on man...

So my best friend suggested Royalty because she got her tat there. I was so against it but finally went in. When I did I knew it was the right place for me. I met an artist name Matty and he was so chill and nice to me. He loved my design and wasn't rude to me because it was a girly design.

He sketched out some things for me and texted me pictures and met with me a few times before the big day. He just made me feel very comfortable.

On the day of I was a wreck, totally amped up from anxiety. And of course I wanted my ink on my foot--the most painful place of all. I almost passed out when he first started, but he was so calm and nice to me. I laid down and it was better. I screamed and yelled the whole time. It hurt so frickin bad. I felt horrible for Matty but he was so nice about it, he laughed and joked with me the whole time and sang to me and started yelling every time i yelled, just to break the ice.

I had a fantastic experience here. And even despite all of my thrashing around and screaming, Matty did an excellent job. I would go back to him any day--in fact, I wouldn't let anyone else touch my skin.

I got a pretty big tat on my foot with great shading and some color and it was $120 which I think was a great price.

I recommend Matty to anyone. The only downside of Royalty is being in the mall. My screaming attracted quite a crowd and all sorts of people came in and just watched me get inked. That was awkward. But hey, it was worth it!

Oh, important to know--they only accept cash. And you don't need an appointment, they take walk ins.

I went here the other day about an hour before the mall closed. I asked the guy (don't remember his name) if he could do something small for me. He had a couple of things to do and asked me to wait. I think I might have waited 15-20 minutes before he was ready. Not very long. He gave me what I wanted and was quick and effective and it looks great ! I thought the price was a little steep ($90 for a name embellished with a little color). But overall it was good, I'm happy with the tattoo and the customer service !

Alright, I came in here to get my nose repierced. A few years back I had it done at Bulldog Lifestyles in San Jose and it was awful. The stud kept on falling INTO my nose, and it got infected immediately, even though I did sea salt soaks and took care of it like my child. So I had to let it go.

I know it's a little crazy because it's a tattoo/barber spot up in the mall. But don't worry, it's all good. I got pierced by Tea. He was really nice and laid back, very friendly. It was cool, I was hanging out at my friends house, called up Royalty and 20 minutes later I had a nose piercing. Unlike the first time I got my nose pierced, Tea was very thorough when he explained after care to me. He worked quickly and was very careful about sanitation. Total cost was $50 before tip. I would come again if I ever wanted to get anything else pierced.

While I was there I perused their portfolios and the tattoo work looked pretty good. I'm considering coming back to get my next piece done.
