Sabbath Tattoo

I went to get a tattoo here a few months ago after looking at most of the other shops in Bellingham. I settled on Sabbath mostly for the convenience and price; seriously, if these two points are something you're looking for in a tattoo shop, Sabbath cannot be beat. They were very inexpensive and very convenient.

I looked through all the artist's portfolios, saw nothing to be disappointed about regarding their work. Some artists, (not gonna name names) had amazing work in their portfolio and are clearly talented in what they do.

My artist was okay. Said artist had a really easy piece to do on my arm and they did well. I've seen some of their other work on friends and it ranges from 'so-so' to 'really good'

Cleanliness was a big concern for me and this shop kind of scared me on that part. I've seen the artists let their friends who were eating food back in the area with them and even let a small dog run around in the shop where people were getting tattooed. The artists seemed to not care about this at all. DON'T F'ING DO THIS, SABBATH!

I was up in Bellingham visiting a friend about a month back and decided, on a whim, to get a tattoo.  Stopped by on a Wednesday afternoon and Phil was able to accomodate me right away.  I totally lucked out with Phil as what I walked out with far suprassed my expectations. He tattooed an admittedly crappy part of the body (side of my hand), and I'm happy to report that even a month later, the lines are as crisp as day one, and none of it has fallen out. YAY! I've gotten tattooed all over the country and this was one of the most pleasant experiences I've had so far. I'll definitely be back for more the next time I'm in Washington.

I was visiting a friend in Bellingham and we decided to get tattoos together while I was in town. After looking online at the portfolios and info we could find on tattoo shops in the area, we decided Sabbath seemed like the best one. We didn't make an appointment, we just walked in and Bob was there and chatted with us about what we were thinking of getting. He told us to come back in an hour (he had an appointment coming up) and he'd have some stuff drawn up for us. When we came back he showed us his sketches and they were WAY better than what we had even been envisioning! He tattooed both of us in about an hour and the prices were extremely reasonable. Bob was also a fun and entertaining tattooist, not to mention he is clearly very good at what he does. If I go back to Bellingham I would definitely go back into Sabbath for another tattoo.  One tip though, the place is CASH ONLY, so hit the bank before heading over.
