I was referred here by a friend who has had multiple piercings. Â I delt with the owner I think his name is Yuri. Â I called first because I needed help with my son who screwed up his lips doing his own piercings. Â Yuri was very helpful, got us in right away, and when he found out my son was using the last of his money to get fixed up, he gave him a really good price.
Review Source:WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!
I wanted to get a tattoo. I had been longing to get one for a long time. The prices out here in LA are exorbitant and I just wanted a simple tattoo of a bird with my name done. So, while I was out here in Corona, staying and visiting with a friend, I decided to call up Sign of the Times Piercing and Tattoo Studio. I called him up yesterday and sent him an email of the design I wanted, again a simple tattoo of a bird with my name on it. We agreed on a price and from there we set up an appointment for 1pm. This review had to have been written by an employee or a relative of the company owner because this guy was nothing like what they say he is.
He was nice over the phone. He said that he would meet me there at 1pm. 1pm rolls around, then it's 2pm. I am from the Northeast and I do not have a high tolerance for the peaking 100 degree weather they had out there today. He gets there with no concern about the fact that that he showed up AN HOUR LATE and just walks past me. I say to him, "Hey, you were an hour late. What happened?" He brushes it off, refuses to apologize. Me having already made and HONORED my commitment, still go through with it.
I get in there and he gets the tools ready. When it comes time for him to do the tattoo, HE DOES A SWITCHAROO and tries to charge me more than what he said he would. My friend got something bigger and even he didn't her as much as he did for my design (I am very tiny and so is my arm). Pissed and having waited out in the hot sun, I dispute with him and even tell him what we agreed on, what was the difference. Not once did he say anything to justify it. He gets abusive. At that point, I just walk out and he PHYSICALLY tries to push me out.
This guy is erratic and he does not honor his price or respect his customers. I advise everyone to not see him or his shop!
Owner is a pretty nice guy and the place is pretty clean! My husband & I had been searching for needles everywhere all week! The shops we called either didn't sell them or were rude to us! Piercing needles were only $5 each :]
When we got home, we realized that the guy had given us the wrong gauge needle! We went back to the shop the next day and the guy apologized & gave us two free needles and a discount on a really nice new piercing for my Madonna!
