The only reason why we didn't show was because the guy wanted the artists tattoo out of his house. I talked to the department of health and they informed me that I couldn't get a temporary license to tattoo at this event. So tattooing there was not even an option. So kiss my ass with this tattooing illegally bullshit. Wasn't gonna happen.
Review Source:Loki may be a great artist, but I'll never find out. He and his compadres at Skorpion Ink were a NO CALL - NO SHOW at the Day of the Living Ink'd event. Zero professional courtesy even though they got tons of free advertising. I personally overheard folks saying they would spread the word locally. I guess we got stung by Skorpion Ink. Once bitten twice shy. Will get ink with an artist with integrity.
Review Source:As a tattoo enthusiast and lover of the art of tattooing, it was a real disappointment when Skorpian Ink failed to show up at the Day of the Living Inked II event. As a business who committed to be part of this event and not show up the day of, reflects an incredible lack of professionalism. I flew to San Antonio from California to specifically attend this function and meet these tattoo artists. What a shame that they have such disregard in how they represent themselves as a company and as artists.
