I had my first tattoo performed here this week.  It was a simple tattoo and Jeremiah did exactly what I wanted.  He was ever so patient with me during the placement.  It was quick, clean and as painless as a tattoo can be.

    Highly recommended.

My wife got a tattoo done by Jeremiah Ferguson and it was awesome. So I had him do mine too and I am pleased. He is awesome to talk to while getting your tattoo done. My wife and I both highly recommend him at Stained Skin!

I met with Ben and then emailed him a picture of what I wanted.  He took that picture and made it GREAT!  He saw what I wanted and made it better.  This was my first tattoo and he answered all of my questions and concerns.  I want an artist and a skilled technician, and he was both.  I would will go back to him in a second if I get a second tat.
I work in a hospital so I was aware of hygiene and had no complaints.  Everything was up to my expectations.

My wife has gotten 2 pieces and I have gotten one here at stained Skin. All three were expertly done by Ben. Ben's work was great and he was a professional all during each of the session we were with him. The studio was clean and the staff was friendly. I am planning my second tatto for this spring and Ben will be getting another visit by me.

I've got two pieces from Andy which I absolutely love. Love Andy, Love the shop, love the location!

However, nothing against poor Ben, he was not the friendliest fella. I have 2 friends who had some work done by him and were both very unsatisfied in not only the quality of the tats, but in the fact that Ben was kind of a turd & continually "scolded" them for various reasons during their 20 minute tattoos.

You could freehand the Mona Lisa on me, but if I'd rather gargle razorblades than 'visit' with you whilst being inked, you might want to take some socializing classes.

I got my second (and so far, most recent) tattoo at Stained Skin. While I thought the shop itself was very nice and a pleasure to be in compared to plenty of other tattoo studios I've visited, the level of service I received was not quite perfect.

I had a specific design in mind for my tattoo and discussed this with the artist who ended up doing my tattoo; it had been sketched for me by my girlfriend at my request (and as a gift). The artist- who is no longer at Stained Skin- seemed to have no qualms about the design and we started almost immediately.

The process was about what you would expect, although bland; my artist was not a conversationalist, which some people might like, but a little chat before I fell into the trance of the needle-gun would have been nice. At any rate the tattoo was quick and painless, and I left satisfied.

It wasn't until later, when it was all clean and healed, that my girlfriend noticed that a section of the tattoo hadn't been colored in. It was a rather small area to be sure, but the error was plain as day. Now I'm fairly certain that if I had called Stained Skin and told them what was up I would have received a free touch-up, but I never quite scheduled it and now, who knows, I'll get it filled in when I get my next tattoo (if I do). Still, the oversight in the first place was fairly shocking and seemed sloppy to me.

Again, this artist isn't at Stained Skin now so my experience may not be perfectly valid. Despite this small error I was pleased with the price and the service, and I remain satisfied with the tattoo. While I did like some of the art I saw from other artists in the book of samples the store had, I think I'll try a different studio next time I get inked in Columbus.
