This is the best tattoo shop in the entire state of West Virginia. Yelp says not to write a review of a place if "you're connected in any way to the owner or employees." That's impossible with a tattoo shop because if you don't build some kind of a relationship with your artist, you aren't going to get a very good tattoo. So let me say up front that I know all of these guys very well. I'm writing the review anyway. If I weren't the only Yelper who yelps about West Virginia businesses, there would be others who would confirm the review.
There are five artists here: Billy Beans (owner), Matt Hays, Saka, and two newer guys I don't know so well. Â I've gotten five tattoos from Matt and two from Billy. They are all amazing. The newest one is over three years old and the oldest is almost twelve years old, but they all still look brand new. Â They are great guys, and I highly recommend them. Â
They do custom work primarily, but they will do other stuff as well. You get the best work when you go custom though, just FYI. They are artists after all. Â The work these guys do would cost you a shit ton more in a more populated area, so you're very lucky they operate where they do.
