Ryan, the shop owner, does amazing work and is VERY professional. I've gotten about 30 hours of tattoo work from him and it has been a sheer pleasure. I followed him from shop to shop around Portland for my work (he would tend to stir crap at shops by calling other artists out on their crap and confronting bullcrap attitudes). FINALLY, he opened up his own shop and it is AWESOME. It's hard to find a good, fair shop that doesn't have that "holier than thou attitude" that seems to be a highly contagious disease in the Portland area. Yeah, Forest Grove is 35-40 minutes away, but i would easily drive twice that to get ink from Ryan.
He has also recently expanded the shop and attracts other talented artists that seem to enjoy his laid-back, yet highly professional atmosphere that emanates from him. I have never talked to anyone inked by Ryan that hasn't been SUPER stoked on their work, and anytime i know someone that is looking for an artist, i don't hesitate to recommend him.
Look out for this guy. He is pretty young and I believe a legend in the making. I predict he will rock the tattoo scene in The States for years to come. Do your skin a favor and go check it out.
