Since this was my first tattoo, I can't compare my experience here to experiences elsewhere, but I have to say that I was very impressed.  The shop is clean and the staff is friendly.  Chris was the artist that did my tattoo and I'm pleased with the work he did.  He's very professional.  He took the time to explain the process to me and showed me the equipment that he'd be using.  He talked with my wife and myself while he was doing the work and we enjoyed that.  And the end result was exactly what I wanted.  On a side note: my wife was wanting to get a tattoo as well.  While my design was pretty straightforward, hers required piecing together elements from a few different designs.  The staff was really helpful in creating the design elements, the font, and the arrangement that she was looking for.  But in the end, she decided to postpone getting the work done until Fall because she couldn't stand the thought of having to stay out of the pool, even for a few weeks.  The staff was cool with that and offered to file the design away for when she decided the time was right.  More professionalism.  So, long story short: yes, I would recommend The Tattoo Studio to others and yes, I do plan on going there for future tattoo work.

    1. the owner is mean and treats the staff like dogs...even yells and belittles them infront of the customers. 2. the big guy there i think named terry, i saw many of his drawings and it seemed that he was doing all the designing and everyone else was doing his tattoos. i think they changed them or couldnt do his drawings because the tattoos didnt look as good as his origional art. 3. the owner was arguing with a customer over cars and hot rods while tattooing him..i felt bad for the guy cause he was trapped under a needle with nowhere to go. 4. all the flash art there seems old and outdated.  aside from the big guy, i saw some drawings the other artists had done and they were pretty bad. 5.something was going on with the machine or needles caused the guy had to change them out like 5 times in one small tattoo..very unprofessional and hostile. i will never step back into that shop. after witnessing all of this in a 20 minute period i decided to go somewhere else and get my tattoo.
