My wife just got her first tattoo from Marci.  She did an amazing job- the art and work was beautiful.  The whole experience was great and she is already wanting to go back for more!!

i had been thinking of getting my septum pierced for a few years and just never did it so on a whim, i stopped in while riding by after work. i cant remember who pierced me but he was unbelievably professional about the whole process, it literally didnt hurt at all. about a week later, the piercing itself wasnt irritated but the jewelry he used was too tight on my "columella" and had worn the skin away a little bit. so i called and the other piercer was also quite professional - offered to widen it for me if i came in. i stopped in after work and he attempted to widen it with a pliers while it was still on my face which terrified me and obviously was a little bit dangerous so we had no option but to take the piercing out and widen it then put it back in, but septum piercings are pretty easy and it was pretty well healed at that point so it didnt hurt. it was nice of him to do something for me i could have probably done on my own but i was scared to try to do it while it was still in my face.

my only complaints: they used a retainer to pierce me which is ok because i didnt know how my boss would react (he didnt care), i would have preferred a ring (but i guess they were just out of stock). it was a bit pricier than i had anticipated - i had called around and this place was a bit more expensive than other places. but overall, im totally satisfied.

(as an aside, while i was waiting, one of the tattoo artists asked me if i had been helped and i tripped on my words because i swooned. dudes in chicago never make me swoon so that was nice.)
