So the shop looks so cool on the inside. I would love my room at my house to look like that. My 7 year old brother came with me because I had an appointment and I had no one to watch him.
The piercer, Chris Saint, was super friendly with my brother so that was a plus.
Chris Saint had done my former piercings when he was at Artifact so of course I was going to go where he was now.
He did an incredible job as always! I will go to him for anything I want done.
I have never been disappointed.
Here is a slice of honesty for everyone out there: My friend and I showed up at 6pm to get his tattoo done by Josh. Josh was currently unavailable. So we were referred to a nice looking girl named Carrie. She looked at the images that we had printed out and she gave an objective and artistic look at the two images we told her what we liked about the images she said she'd like to change a few things so that way she wasn't giving him a tattoo that wasn't original and said to come back in a half hour. We went and had dinner and came back and everything we liked about the images she changed. What we came back to was an unfinished sketch that looked like a talented 5 year old had traced the image so the image was in reverse which would have been fine had it NOT been something she intended on putting on someones body PERMANENTLY! She then informed us that the shop was closing at 8 and she wouldn't be able to complete the tattoo tonight, and asked for us to come back tomorrow because she was available all day tomorrow and asked for a $20 nonrefundable deposit. My eyes crossed. She needs to work on her craft if this is her chosen profession. The image of the phoenix she had mangled wound up looking like a crow with a vagina on its back. UNACCEPTABLE. Here's a tip for Carrie: take drawing classes and LOTS of them and then go buy slabs of pig skin and practice tattooing on that before you try to ink a human being.
