I was in Pismo for my last vacation of the year and figured I'd get the tattoo of my sons name on my forearm that Id been wanting. I was staying right down the street so i walked over. I met Duane and he said no problem.I told him what I wanted and made an appointment for two days later. I showed up at the appointed time and he was ready and did my tattoo.He is a great guy and I reccomend him highly. All in all it was a great experience and I would not hesitate to come back if I ever want another tattoo.
Review Source:Just got my second tattoo from this place. Pismo is about 4 hours from home and its becoming a tradition to come here and get work done. They are so laid back. They do awesome work. My parents also got some tattoos done and my husband had his ears stretched. I would recommend this place to anyone. I'll definitely be back for more. Everyone is awesome but Duane is the best.
Review Source:Just got my 2 month old daughters ear pierced yesterday- you guys were awesome and the piercing girl was soooo good and professional! My daughters ears look gorgeous!! I also got a tattoo there 6 years ago with my sons name and a coi fish and it still looks great. My husband and I will be coming soon to get tattoos for our daughter.
Review Source:Went in a few weeks ago to get some new ink, plus to find a new shop and artist. Not that I didn't like the last shop I used to go to, it's the fact that I moved from LA to here. Met an awesome guy who did a barcode tattoo. Great little quaint place and getting used to the hours. Been used to shops being open until 2am. Very friendly staff and they also recommended places of eating wise around here as well. By the way, it's cash only and you pay your artist afterwards...another new experience for me. I am used to being able to pay by plastic and beforehand. But life is life. And normally I post 5 Stars when I think places are really good. And some tattoo shops I have been to are the ultimate 5 Star worthy, I never rate tattoo shops as 5 Stars in general since they are a bunch of them around and each has their unique quality. If you don't feel comfortable there with the artist, then go to one that you feel comfortable with.
Review Source:The first time I walked into Tiger Rose it was packed and I was told they couldn't get me in. I mentioned it was my last day in town and a gentleman came up from the back of the busy shop, asked me what I wanted and said if I could come back in an hour he would take care of me. The entire staff was very polite and knowledgeable. The piercer even helped me out with a problem I had with a dermal that I didn't even get done there. If your looking for a place to get some amazing art work done that is clean& professional yet laid back this is it!! I wouldn't go anywhere else it's worth the long drive. It doesn't matter if I'm getting a big or small piece done every time I walk into Tiger Rose I always receive the same excellent customer service and the prices are always very reasonable...

Â While she was getting her tattoo done by the owner, Chuy, I decided to get my nose pierced. Â The piercer (Randy) was so friendly and made me feel very comfortable even though I was nervous. Â He did a great job! Â My friend loves her new tattoo also, we will definitely return to this shop!
Review Source:I took my 3 year old daughter here to get her ears pierced. I Â showed up right at opening and the piercer that was there said he was not comfortable working with children but if I came back after 3 there would be someone who was really good with kids. We returned at 3 and were greeted by another piercer who was very confident. She did a wonderful job with my daughter and her earrings came out even and look wonderful. I was very impressed with the first pierces honesty and the second pierces expertise.
Review Source:My friend wanted to be spontaneous and get a piercing so we stopped by the first tattoo spot to get it done. Â Apparently she wanted everyone to be spontaneous with her and get something pierced!.. She was able to get 4/6 girls to do it.. and I was the 1 out of 2 girls who didn't get a fresh new piercing. Â The piercer lady gave them a discount if they have at least 3 people who were getting new piercing so they all a discount of $5 off. Â
The piercer lady was pretty cool and let a couple of us watch our friend get pierced while I recorded it on my phone. Â The prices were reasonable.. $40 for lip and nose piercing,, plus $5 off.. even better!
i had three experiences here. the first two were amazing. i got my first tattoo done by some super hot dude... who aside from his beauty was fun to talk to and did a good job. The second time was also as good because there was friendly people and good conversation. The last time was however horrible. I wanted to get another tattoo done and the guy was a complete pompous ass. He wanted to design my tattoo completely differently and didnt understand what i was saying and was telling me that all of my ideas were ugly and wouldnt look good. I get it, you tattoo people everyday, but i'm not going to let you touch me if you treat me like another dumb girl who wants to get another dumb tattoo. i'm sorry i'm not col enough for you! I liked the other people who worked there! Â I may go back, but I have still yet to decide.

With that said, I think my piercer had his eyes crossed when he did my piercing. Since it was painful, I'll just keep the piercing as-is until I decide to remove it rather than having it adjusted, but it is noticeably crooked as though I asked for it to be pierced that way.
All-in-all, just make sure your markings are straight before you let them push the metal through.
I have to give this place 4 stars..Not because they were some amazing high end tattoo place and certainly not because I know that much about tattoos..(after all i only have one if you can even it call it one) But the guys there were amazing!!!!!!! It was my 18Th birthday and I was there to see my guy, i was having one of the only rebellious moments Ive ever had in my life and decided I'd be tough and get a tattoo. So I walk in to one place and they cant take me till the next day, figuring ill lose my nerve I wander in to Tiger Rose. Greeted by a young guy in shorts and some skate shirt I was told I could be seen right away. My oddly happy with pain sister tried to be supportive by getting one before me. Never mind the fact she already had like 6 and this little one felt like a mosquito bite!!!!!! So I pick out what I think is a cute picture of a turtle..well cute and the least painful. After a couple laughs the guys take me to the room where I proceed to have my sister by my side. After the tears were shed and I almost passed out I look down and there on my side is the cutest turtle Ive ever seen! These guys were amazing and so sweet to me with all my dramatic-ness. They showed honest concern and ended up giving me one great tattoo.. If I ever get the crazy idea to do this again, I wouldn't wanna go anywhere else!!!!
Review Source:Id like to be all long winded and give ya a great story bout this place but the truth is, I took my little sister here for her first tattoo and she wouldnt get one unless I did. She ended up (after nearly passing out LOL) with a bad ass tiny turtle wearing shades. AWWWWW the guy was great with her though. Â I on the other hand being the proud owner of 5-6 by then was no help at all...Since I had nothing planned I got a small piece (which I have since turned into a much much much bigger piece) a kanji symbol for strength and it took about 15 minutes and was well done.....for being on a spontaneous girls weekend this place servedits purpose...
