Tried and True Tattoo is one of the best tattoo shops on the central coast. I have been working with shop owner, Robert Pesina, to create an amazing 3/4 floral sleeve and back piece for the past six months. He has done an outstanding job. Every time I come in for a session, I bring him a picture of what I want to add and he knows just what to do with it. I give him artistic license to combine my vision with his incredible talent. What a great shop! My husband and I were visiting the area and decided to check out the shop. We came in to browse and my husband was able to get a walk-in appointment with Robert. He did some very nice script above my husbands knees. He was incredibly nice and a pleasure to meet. A few months later, I saw him at the Lady Luck convention in Reno and was able to get a tattoo on my calf. He did an incredible job. I would definitely like to get tattooed by him again.

They weren't very professional, the things they talked about while I was getting a tattoo was very disturbing & inappropriate. I haven't recommended this place to anyone.
Review Source:This is by far my favorite tattoo shop, not only for the amazing artists that work here, but also for the area it's located in. Â Prior to moving to Oregon, I would drive up from SoCal specifically to see Robert and Jason. Â Not only are they good people, but it's like a home away from home when you are there. Â No fake bullshit, just real pepole doing what they love. Â I have more compliments on the pieces Jason has done for me than ANY OTHER tattoo on my body. Â I am looking forward to my next session with him and cannot wait to have some of Robert's masterpieces on me as well. Â QUALITY work, CLEAN environment, Â enjoyable experiences and hell, lifetime of memories, who wouldn't want to come here? Â

The absolute best pricing and artists in the area! I would never get my tattoos done anywhere else. I had one tattoo re-touched by Jason and two done by Ronnie. Both guys were very nice, talkative and not full of themselves (a rarity in the business, I feel). They did the job for a very reasonable price and made some art that I am proud of! Thanks guys, you freak'in rock.
