Tropical Isle Tanning Salon

I wanted to give a 4 star because I was a loyal tanner for a few years, but gave a 3 star because they have some great qualities and some not so great. (also this review is based on previous experience a couple years ago)

First, the owner's daughter is the best employee by far.  She is always super friendly.  They have 2 locations near campus which is convenient.  The "beast" of a bed at one location is the best for a great tan and staying cool cause it has a/c. Everything seems to be clean as well. If i remember right, it fits the college student budget a bit more than bronze-it and is the same quality.

Bad news, there are some bad apples that work there.  I chose to only go to one location, Jackson Street, because I became so uncomfortable going to the other.  The girls I encountered were rude, unhelpful, and actually gossiped about their customers between each other and other customers...not good.  I hope in the past years they have weeded those kinds of girls out because i really do like the place and hope they continue to do well.
