Every time I'm in this shop I run into a ridiculously satisfied customer coming out of it.  The tattoos I've seen sport serious quality and show a commitment to doing things differently.  The shop doesn't limit itself or its customers; it's home to artists with loads of integrity and a skill-set for different styles.

I've seen everything from a seriously awesome portrait of Gollum, (yup,  Lord of the Rings reference) to elegantly precise tribal designs.  The shop is meticulously clean and the studio space includes big inviting windows, original artwork by the business owners, and yes, a photo of Kevin Bacon.  (Immediate win.)

Wicked City Tattoo captures the bold artistic feel of Jerome and defies the misconception that big talent stays in the big city.  They've made an obvious commitment to creativity and excellence, and their customers love that.

so it appears that i am the first reviewer of wicked city tattoo. yay me. this review and a couple of bucks i can get a high class coffee drink. so, uh, yeah. lets get down to the business.

i am a fan of jay bondelli. plain and simple. and here is why:

jay is an extremely patient and pleasant person to be around. i have spent more than a few hours with him and i have to say it was never an "effort" or ever seemed "painful."

jay was willing to work with a design to the exact specifications. i mean exact. the image was changed more than a few times and every time jay never bitched or complained. why? because he digs his work and it is quite apparent.

on to the actual process of the tattoo. jay works fast and efficient. its a pleasure when getting work done to know the artist knows exactly what he is doing. thats the experience you will get with jay.

so, if youre looking for an awesome tattoo by an even more awesomer dude, make sure you go see jay bondelli at "wicked city." you wont be disappointed and he certainly wont let you down.

p.s.-make sure what you are requesting to get done is large areas of black/tribal work. thats his specialty. so i think that covers jay bondelli and "wicked city tattoo."

one more thing. TIP YOUR ARTIST. this means you TIP JAY!! he is an artist doing a service for YOU. tattooing is a service. jay is doing a service. besides good tipping is good karma. make it happen.

    over. and out.
