  I have experience taking American Tribal Style® belly dance classes in several studios, and through advanced trainings have come in contact with many instructors.  Drawing on these experiences, I can honestly say that the Wild Sky Studio experience is top notch, fair in price, and the most fun you will have all week.
  
  Heidi, the owner, progressed my studies in a conscientious manner.  Humility will have me point out that I am far from the best dancer in this country.  However, I went from someone who wanted to take classes and stay in the back to finding the courage to lead this improvisational dance form.  From there, I found the courage to perform.  From there, the courage to take two advanced workshops from the originator of the dance form.  In doing so, I followed in the steps of Heidi, who is as highly credentialed as they come.  Heidi's technique is spot on with what it should be.  Her sincere, fun approach is charismatic.  She is the flame.
  
  No studio will be free, or will be open 24 hours like a 7-11.  Wild Sky does have an accessible class schedule.  There are classes six days a week.  Her pricing is less than many places I know of; Heidi has been active with Groupon, Yelp, and PerksConnect to provide steep discounts.
  
  I am disheartened to see the negative review, and had a mind to challenge it.  I see all levels of classes and know each of the teachers.  "Mediocre" is not a word that applies.  It is unfortunate that business reviews run the risk of being subject to territory wars, and I highly suspect that is what is at play here.  I encourage any one who has a doubt to either drop in to a class (a reasonable drop in rate applies) and judge for yourself, or to stop by a 2nd Saturday Drum Circle at Feed Your Head (Arlington).  From 6-7 you can see the ladies of Wild Sky, and oftentimes participate in a mini-lesson.  The proof is in the pudding: people love to watch, AND take classes!
