I can't stand when I walk into a tattoo shop and am greeted with a too-cool-for-school sneer. But that wasn't the case at Your Mom's Tattoo.

I walked in to this well-lit, ultra-clean, comfortable environment (leather couches and a warm color scheme are nice touches) and was greated promptly with a "Hello, what can I do for you?" They had me at hello.

I was given a tour of the shop, shown the sterilization process, and encouraged to ask questions. I was also given all of the risks and other need-to-know information (like price) up front. No hidden agendas here. These guys have a nice balance of being both laid  back and professional.

I gave the artist my idea, he sketched it out, offered advice, and we were in business quickly. We had good conversation (which is always important to me, I don't want to be tattooed by a total idiot ) and I was comfortable during the entire process. Each artist has his or her own room, so if you're getting ink in an intimate spot, have no fear, your privates will remain private.

The shop currently has three artists but will be adding another in a few months. They are also currently in the process of hiring a piercer.

The price was reasonable for the amazing quality of work I received. I couldn't be happier with my latest addition. When in the market for a new piece of body art, check out Your Mom's.
