Art For Life Tattoo Studio

I returned to Art For Life Tattoo Studio recently for another tattooing. Once again Tim worked with me to create a design that I really liked, even hand drawing for me portraiture of my concept in advance and allowing me to suggest changes and to size it properly for my leg. Tim has been professional and friendly throughout the process and really cares about creating beautiful art. The studio is clean, quiet, and private...not at all what you've seen at many storefront tattoo businesses. An excellent place for tattoo newbies like myself. Don't hesitate to give him a call to discuss your next tattoo concept. Oh and his pricing is extremely fair!

I literally happened upon Art For Life when visiting a neighboring business. I was so impressed with their talent, creativity, customer service, and value, that I've become a customer for life. I just had my third tattoo done there, and couldn't be more pleased. Tim & Shane have impressive creativity, and have built a clean & inviting tattoo studio space that's unlike most other tat shops. They work hard to provide you with a lasting and meaningful tattoo that you will be proud to show off. They do great touch-up work, as well as making brand new works from the ground up. Oh, and they also do tradtitional (non-tattoo) artwork too which is really interesting. Their space is more akin to an art gallery or spa than your typical tat place. Plus their location is also nicely located in a safe and vibrant retail area of NW Bakersfield (Riverlakes area,) which is great (and you will never feel as if you're going to a "seedy" questionable section of the 'hood.) They are most welcoming, so do stop by sometime and see what they have going on -- they're great folks just to talk to, and they'll treat you right.
