A few years ago I got my belly button pierced 3 times here. My experience was great! The people there are friendly and they have a huge variety of body jewelry you can choose from. The piercer makes it's hard to feel any pain because he is so fast. Definitely consider stoping by Bangles for your next piercing!

Just left here after getting my septum pierced. I went in, got to choose which jewelry I wanted, and not even five minutes later I was called in.

The piercer opened everything in front of me and the process went really quickly! I will definitely go back for future piercings.

I went a couple of weeks ago and it was a nice surprise to visit Bangles again. After about a 15 year absent from me. I thought both young ladies that were working there were both very nice. I would go back because I saw a purse I just have to have.

OK, so i first checked this place out on yelp the reviews makes this place sound good, so i decided to go since its near me. BUT I WISH I DIDN'T! Yes the priceses are good but the service is bad.....so i went today to get my nose pierced, I've never had anything pierced in my life!!!! so i was super nervous and i must admit, scared! so it really did not help that the people there were kinda cold and the guy who pierced my nose was RUDE!!!!!! i was scared to even ask him anything, he had an attitude!....last weekend i went  with my friend to some other place in Orange County to watch her get her nose pierced and her experience was MUCH BETTER! they were super chill and the guy did it quick so she wouldn't feel much, well my experience was bad, the guy did it so slow and rough! it hurt and this guy pretty much just wanted to get it over with. i didn't feel like they care at all about their customers, i mean come on, I'm paying you, at least effing smile or make this a pleasent experience!....... i should have just made the drive all the way to Orange County! if it was up to me they would get no stars!!!!! but i have to rate them between 1 and 5........  =/

I've gotten both my septum and nostril pierced here and both were quick and painless. I'm pleased with my septum especially since that's a piercing easy to mess up with just a little off angle. Either way, I'm pleased with the work the piercer does.

My first time coming here (bear in mind this was 3 years ago), the employees seemed a little rude (it is a shop too) but during my last visit (1 year ago) they seemed a lot nicer and inviting.

Either way, I don't come here enough to talk about the service of the people. I've had pretty good overall experience here and I would definitely come back.

I recommend people to come here if they ask where I got my piercings done. It's reasonably priced as well.. very reasonably priced.

I called to get a price quote and the guy was SO beyond rude why would you ever treat a potential customer like that? Ha, that made up my mind on the spot!

I got my tongue pierced here the first time and the people were very friendly and encouraging. The guy who pierced my tongue took time to make sure that everything was ok. He pierced it quickly and effectively and i wish that i'd come back to him the second time i got it done because the other place was just awful.

Anytime i want new jewlery i always make sure to come here, they have great discounts when you buy more than one! (which is great cause i can never decide on just one.)

I'm not a typical customer you would find at a piercing place.  I am a 32 year old, married, mother of two, fairly conservative, I have only had my ears and cartilage pierced in my teens.  As you can imagine I walked in feeling a little out of my comfort zone.  I had been wanting to get my nose pierced for years and I finally accumulated the courage to do it.  The girls behind the counter were friendly, perhaps for a moment they thought "what is this square doing here".  I walked up to the counter and said I wanted to get my nose pierced, I was given a short form to fill out and sign then I picked my stud.  The person who pierced me, is also the owner "George".  He isn't what I would consider your typical piercer, he is an older gentleman with no piercings or tat's (or visible ones at least), kinda like a father figure, lol. To be frank he lacked personality nor was he friendly.....don't get me wrong he wasn't rude or disrespectful, just dry and to the point.......he was there to do one thing......Pierce!  I have to say he was EXCELLENT,  he quietly prepared everything in front of me, you could tell he knew what he was doing, just by watching the way he open things and maneuvered the clamp, he meant business.  Everything was in sterile packaging, normal procedure of cleansing my nose and the stud were executed.  Oh....I wanted to bring my husband inside to the room, but the girls said that he couldn't go in with me, which sucked.  Anyways, he marked my nose, showed me a mirror,  I wanted the stud more in the crevice of my nose as I have a bigger then average nose, so he remarked it, showed me the mirror, then he proceeded to clamp my nose firmly and he pierced it with the needle.  Honest to God it did not hurt at all.  I have to say that I may have a high tolerance for pain, as I have given birth without meds twice, but regardless it was super fast and painless.  The worst part is the anticipation.  I only felt a little discomfort, when he was twisting in my stud.  I got a little teary, which I suppose is a natural response when your nose is messed with, lol.  I was in and out of that piercing room in less then 4 minutes.  Overall my experience was great!  I would recommend this place to friends with confidence.  I only gave it 4 stars, if George was a little more personable and had they allowed my husband to come in with me I would have given it 5 stars.  The store is also filled with a ton of clothes and accessories (wide range of styles).  I even saw designer items in the jewelry case (Kimora Lee, Ed Hardy).  I wish they carried genuine diamond studs, but they didn't have high end studs.  Woot woot to Bangles of Whittier!

    Oh yeah....Total Cost was $26.00
    Piercing was $18.00
    Stud was $6.00
    Very reasonable!
