I wish I found this place when I first started getting tattoos. This is a great place to go to if you're getting your first tattoo or considering it! Jerome Mandani is talented and is an amazing artist and person! I highly recommend him. I came with an idea, he elaborated and I love the tattoo! Thank you Jerome! Everyone here is wonderful and family friendly, a definite plus! Also, for my family who smoke vapes they see them here and have a variety of flavors!
Review Source:I came here two weeks ago as a walk-in hoping to get some work done. I couldn't have been happier with the tattoo that Jerome drew up and tatted on me. I asked for the om symbol to be tatted on my inner bicep and Jerome drew up the lotus flower and om symbol in the middle and asked what I thought. I love it! He was really patient with me and had a really calming personality! Jerome is an amazing artist!
I would definitely recommend this shop to everyone! The shop had a great vibe an played awesome music! This shop and the people are really chill dudes. Definitely check this place out! I am for sure coming back here for future ink!
I had been thinking about getting a cherry blossom tattoo for quite some time. Â After striking out with a few other tattoo shops who either didn't return calls, weren't open when I went by, or were straight up with me about being better at different styles of tats, I serendipitously passed by Big Buddha and met an artist there named JEROME. Â He drew a quick sketch on my back that was better than I even had in mind. Â
It took two sessions to complete my tat & I couldn't be happier with the results!!!
I decided(finally) to get my first tattoo. Someone recommended Bugsy when I called earlier, so we just picked him right off. He did an AMAZING job:) Â I am so glad we went there. I am IN LOVE with it.He was really nice, and the tattoo looked SO GREAT. Exactly what I wanted.
*I found a mistake last night. My friend drafted the design, and they were roman numerals. One of the numbers was missing one
"I". I called, and he was willing to fix it. OMG SO GLAD SO GLAD.*
I think I will stick with Bugsy for all my future tattoos.
Everyone at Big Buddah was really friendly and helpful. GREAT SHOP! MUST GO!!!
TATTOO CHERRY POPPED!
Came to Buddha and got Sam to do my first tattoo from a referral. Â
I got my dad's signature on my foot! Â Yes, it hurt but it was bearable. Â With the occasional curse word outbursts- in 30 minutes I was done =)
I LOVED my experience and recommend Sam and his shop to anyone interested in ink work. Â He was professional (brand new needles, setup done in front of me etc) and skilled (awesome job on getting the authentic look of the signature) and totally made me feel comfortable by asking what I wanted in detail.
Love it baby!
Edit: Â so my friends w/ tats are making fun of me cuz i paid $100 for a small signature. Â Yea I brought my own artwork and it was a tiny tattoo but Sam did tell me minimum was $100. Â Just FYI.
Not having been tattoo'd by anyone here, I have to disclose that, but the vibe in the shop was not was I was expecting. Â The staff was super friendly and helpful, but just not what I was looking for. Â They referred me to someone else since the guy I was looking for wasn't there, and the gentlemen who they referred me to told me, that he would have to make up features since my photo wasn't big enough, and told me to go to a photo shop to get it blown up more. Â What? Â I appreciated the honesty, but if your inexperienced in portrait work, you should probably not be referred to someone who is looking to get one permanently placed on their body.
Lesson learned, shop the tat shops, and find the artist who will do exactly what you want the way you want it. Â Unless its a piece that calls for creative freedom.
I must have shopped around about 4-5 places for my first tat, before I settled on Big Buddha. Most places in the surrounding area were riding on their established arrogance or inflated prices. I just didn't get a "we love tattoos and that's why we're here" like I did here.
First, like the set-up: Its classy, not trashy. You don't think about whether or not they use sterile needles. Everyone is friendly.
My artist Pin, was a class act. He expertly inked my design as I had created it. We ran the full session just short of 4 hours, and I had a good experience. Â Patient and cool. Definately will keep him in mind for my 2nd tat.
Located in downtown Fullerton, there's plenty of local competition. But this place has my business, and it deserves yours.
I love this place! Â Every time I come in here they treat me like family. Â Everyone is really nice and welcoming. Â
Sam is my favorite artist. Â He has done many pieces for me throughout the years and I have come out extremely happy with his work and professionalism. Â He always counsels me on the piece that I want to get- for instance, if he knows the piece is way too small to look good as it ages, he will tell me so that I can decide whether to go bigger or risk the aging process, Â The thing I like about Sam is that he informs me on what makes an artist's work good. Â If I want a certain piece done and he feels someone in the shop would be perfect for that, he will hand me over to that artist instead. Â This shop really is about quality of work more than it is about making money. Â I love the atmosphere here. Â It feels like everyone is working together as a team to make this shop great. Â Sam is not only a great and humble artist, he is also knowledgeable. Â I did not feel like he was out to get my money, I felt like he was there to help me make the best decision for what I want. Â
I am very very satisfied and highly recommend this shop to anyone looking to get some ink done or to get piercing. Â Their line up of shirts is amazing as well as other items they have on sale. Â I've bought a few of their shirts and received countless compliments on the beautiful artwork.
This shop is everything a tattoo shop should be! Â Come check it out... come look at their work.. see what the rave is all about!
