  This place is amazing!! Very friendly, pleasant and with so much talent!!! I got tattooed by Gilbert, this guy is just gifted, super talented and make you feel super comfortable and relax especially with my first tattoo, this is my guy and I will not let anyone one else tattoo me. Love the place, love the people and I'm definitely returning to this place. Thank you for everything! David.

  I've been to alot of shops in alot of different states and Black Rose is by far the best. All of the artists are extremely professional, personable, and talented. The shop itself is very clean and hygienic. I came in and saw Jimmy with a rough idea of what I wanted and he did a ton of research and came up with a concept with every detail accurate and exactly what I wanted. The piece was all his original work and was outstanding.
  
  I got to see some of the work of the other artists too and they are all great. I definitely would recommend Black Rose over any other tattoo shop.

  I went to see my friend get a tattoo of an albino sea turtle on her back.  Gilbert one of the owners did the tattoo.  This place from the moment you walk through the door is clean, décor is cool, and you know you are in a good place to get a tattoo.  Everyone was friendly and helpful and made us feel very comfortable.  Gilbert was a blast to hang out with and an amazing artist.  He suggested she get water to accentuate the white of the turtle and wow what a difference it made.  The tattoo looks exactly like the picture (see pics).  He gave her an amazing deal on the price as well!  
  
  Definitely will be coming back here for my first tattoo very soon!  They do piercings as well.  All the artists here are amazing check out their website for pics.  Gil is one of the best!

  Let me let you in on a little secret...I have a tattoo.  Yes, as of November, for my birthday, I decided to get a tattoo, my very first one.  A friend recommended Jimmy, at Black Rose, and I had my doubts.  Obviously, having never had a tattoo, I was nervous and unsure of what level of pain to expect, plus I expected something sleazy, like on TV, and probably filthy and unsafe.  Not only that, but this is a hell out of the way for me.  My friend kept fighting me on it and saying that Jimmy is the man, and if I went elsewhere, I would regret it.  Mind you, he went through hell trying to get a hold of Jimmy and track him down as he had used Jimmy several years ago several times and he was no longer at that shop.  
  
  I was convinced, so I drove all the way out to Deerfield to meet this Jimmy guy I had heard so much about.  I was surprised that Jimmy was so young, funny, conversational and down to earth, but I hit it off right away.  He made me feel comfortable and the place was very clean.  I also met Nate, one of the other artists and he was also a friendly guy, and talented.  They have a questionnaire you fill out about your health, which some have said is not even used in other places.  I showed Jimmy a picture of what I wanted and he made his own interpretation...freehand.  No, he did not use a stencil or pattern or whatever they call it, he drew it from his imagination, giving it his own spin.  
  
  I must say, he is a beast.  What a talented artist! I was amazed and my worries about ending up with a crooked, shaky nightmare of a tattoo were quickly evaporated.  We were there for about 5 hours, way after the shop had closed, but he always took his time and never rushed me out, nor did he ask me to come back to add in the color.  All that time, he was cracking jokes.  It wasn't nearly as painful as I anticipated, and he said that if it didn't heal well or the color faded, he'd touch it up.  This after giving me an amazing deal on his work.  I no longer felt nervous or scared, and he took breaks in between to let my body rest.  He even bought me a soda when I said I hadn't drank anything all day, so my sugar levels wouldn't drop too much during the intense session.  I even got a free t-shirt to sleep in.  Very nice, down to earth people.  If you're looking for a clean shop with talented artists, a friendly, non-intimidating crowd and reasonable prices, I recommend coming here.

  Tattoo shops tend to have a notorious reputation for being dirty, smoggy, and unprofessional. Having gone to at least five different shops, I can tell you thats its absolutely true. However, Black Rose does not fit that description in any way. As soon as you walk into the store, it smells clean. Its obvious that they clean the store every single day, which is really important, considering its a place where you're going to get a needle shoved through your body. I don't have any tattoos, but I've gotten at least five piercings there, from Gilbert, who is the best piercer I have ever used. He's incredible. He's so efficient, fast, and he's really really nice. Everything they use is pre packaged. He washes his hands right in front of us, uses two pairs of gloves. He's not lazy or on drugs. You couldn't ask for a better piercer. He's never messed up anything of mine before. Plus, the prices are EXTREMELY reasonable. This is by far the best tattoo shop in palm beach county. I HIGHLY recommend everyone to go here. They will not be disappointed :)
