Blue Velvet Tattoo

What a beautiful tattoo shop! I was in Hawaii last month and stopped by Blue Velvet.
I saw some really cool polynesian flash and sailor jerry stuff too.
One of the tattoo artists was doing some really nice anchor tattoos.
Steve did a nuclear bomb with a banner on me and I loved it. He was also really nice and made jokes with me about the various words I should put in the banner. (Bomb Diggity anyone?!)

I would definitely recommend Blue Velvet to anyone going to Hawaii!

Leaving the island the next day and looking for a permanent souvenir.  Consulted Yelp so we don't get some backyard tattooer and wound up here.  Spent about two minutes telling Ty what we wanted (two people, same tattoo) and he went to the back with Tyler to draw it up.  They did it on transfer paper so they could each tattoo someone and less than an hour later we were off to the club with our new tatts.  Big props to the guys for their good work and for putting up with a bunch of crazies from Wai'anae.

Thank you Steven for a great tattoo and a clean touch-up! Blue Velvet is a professional establishment and Steven is a true artist but also listens to his customers ideas and concerns. This was my easiest tattoo yet!
