Bob Robert's Spotlight Tattoo

Hands down one of the best Tattoo Parlors in SoCal, all hand drawn and painted Tattoo Flash, friendly experienced staff and a Tattoo icon in the City of Angels. Bob(dad) and Charlie(son) Roberts have been tattooing for a very very long time and they still do it old school, no bull shit, Bob, Charlie and the their tattooers won't just tattoo anything on anyone just to make the cash, they make sure any design a customer wants to get will be the right fit for the right spot.They're so proud of the art that comes out of Spotlight, they'll turn down putting on a tattoo if they feel it won't work and that comes from much respect for the art of tattooing and years of tattooing experience. I came here for my first tattoo (at 36 years old) I cannot say enough about what a wonderful experience the whole thing was. Bubba took the time to explain, give suggestions, and listen to my concerns.  After reading other yelp reviews of this place I thought I was going to be scared out of my mind, but I was not intimidated or uncomfortable in any way.  Thank you Bubba- I love my tattoo! and I know I and/or my friends will be back!

I've had many tattoos and so far have only been here once but it was a great experience.  Bubba took care of me, only got a small sparrow to fill in some space I had on my arm but the tattoo was awesome.  I'd definitely come back.
