Worst mani-pedi I've ever had. Â Granted, in my lifetime I've had less than ten, but I still know good from bad. Â
I went here because of a deal I purchased on Groupon (and perhaps that was where I erred? Â Had I not revealed I had the Groupon would she have done some quality work? Â Alas, I suppose I shall never know). Â Regardless the reason, my nails were streaky and needed to be touched up, and although the woman was kind and friendly, my mani-pedi was super rushed and sloppily done. Â Will definitely not be returning, and wouldn't recommend that others do either.
I had discovered this place through Groupon, and I scheduled an appointment for a Brazilian wax back in May. Linda is super friendly, and I felt really comfortable given the circumstances (+1 star). I am not sure if she changes the wax after every single person or if she resuses the same wax and double dips. She double dips the same stick into an extremely hot pot of wax. It would be unfair of me to take off one star for an assumption that she resuses the same wax on all her clients. I will be sure to ask her next time, because sanitation is a must!
It actually did not hurt all that much. I have gotten Brazilian waxes from Smooth Operations prior to going here, and those waxes were painless even though my skin is super sensitive. So on a pain scale from 0-10 (0= no pain, 10= greatest pain), I would rate my experience a 3. She was professional and fast (+1 star). I did not get those tiny red bumps afterward either (+1 star).
Happy that it didn't hurt that much, she offered me another Brazilian wax at a discounted price, so I caved in because I thought the wax looked fine. Then I realized after my appointment when I got back to my place that she had not ripped the roots out of some places and missed quite a few patches of hair (-2 stars). I was disappointed because I had bought another wax for August and I did not get the results that I wanted! Hopefully my second visit in August will be much better than the first! I am willing to give her the benefit of the doubt since she has had a few good reviews on here.
Worst waxing experience ever! Linda literally took my skin off with the wax. For a couple days after getting waxed I had huge areas where the skin was missing. Definitely not an attractive look, and not to mentioned painful. It looked really cute when they started to scab. Not only was it a horrible waxing experience but it was also way more expensive than what I usually pay.
I will stick to my usual waxing salon where I know they just remove the hair.
I have been going to Linda for haircuts because she does it just right and my hair is very fine. Â I have now tried her for a pedicure and manicure and found her to be clean, fast, she has the most comfortable chair I have ever sat in and is always friendly and service oriented. Â I had a pedicure that ended in an infection before so am extremely conscious of cleanliness. Â Â I know that she will always take care of her clients and work them in. Â Â I drive 15 miles to her.

This place does it all! They are professional, fast, and GOOD at what they do. From waxing to nails you can't go wrong at Cherry Blossom Salon. I have salon hopped a lot depending on where I am (SF, Marin, LA) and I always compare other salons to this one. It's consistently a great experience. The owner even opened the shop earlier than planned one day just to help me out with a last minute emergency appointment. Good people excellent service.
Review Source:I've been going to Linda for my waxings for years and am just now getting around to writing a review. Â She is thorough, gentle, and accommodating with your schedule. Â Her prices are fair, though she only takes cash or check. Â The salon is clean and feels homey. She always asks about my kids and what vacations I've taken recently. Â I highly recommend her!!

 It was an odd experience for me, I had just met Linda (the waxer) and she had me naked on her table, blowing air to cool in certain places. I think every time you try a new waxer you are a bit embarrassed but they do see naked women all the time so whatever!
Linda is totally sweet, professional, super fast and will fit you into any time you have to see her. I have been back many times and have only seen a few people getting their hair done, they looked happy enough. I come back for the waxing.
Her father sometimes sits at the front door and greets you like a bouncer in a club, he is a really funny guy who rides his bike around town, he will wave at you if he remembers you.
It is cash only, it ends up being cheaper in the long run I guess. Plus there is a Wells Fargo right next door.
