I have work done by David over 12 years ago, including a huge back piece and color shading. The lines are still clean and the ink is still dark. Â He's a cool guy who does good work and goes out of his way to make you happy. Â
Most people don't realize, but tattooing puts a lot of strain on the eyes, back, and wrist. Â David's been doing this for a long time, and it wears you down. Â The time spent on your body stresses his. Â Think about that when you complain about the price. Â Only new artists and less skillful ones tattoo for cheap.
Came across David's Tattoo as we were looking for a tattoo artist in the area. After my fiance and his sister went here, we were all hooked. David is quick, accurate, and professional. My first tattoo was about 9 years ago and I was a little nervous to get another one. David knew this and pretty much talked me through it. I am not going on tattoo #4 and the only place I will go is here. Since my first tat with David, about 4 family members now go to him only.
I will admit that his prices can be steep, but at the end it is well worth it. I'd rather pay a little more for great work than pay less for something that is below average.
I just had my 4th tattoo done; I do not let anyone touch me but David his work is great! I have a beautiful wolf centered on the top of my back -- the detail is gorgeous. I have seen people come in and heard him counsel individuals about where they want to put their tattoo (people do not think through about locations of tattoos - body parts do change and tattoos will distort, but people do not think about that), he is a good guy and worth the money.
Review Source:Got both my tat's done here. The guy was nice and actually free-handed the first one I got to my specifications. Walked in both times with no appointment and was helped immediately. A little pricey but worth it, it's been a few years since I've had them done and they've both held up well. Still colorful and haven't had to redo them or get them touched up.
Parking is kind of a pain since there's limited street parking in front but they do have some parking in the back. Also they have kinda weird hours. Might want to call ahead to make sure they're open.
Me and 3 friends wound up here one night and thought it would be fun to get some ink done.  I have to give David's a mixed review. 2 of  my friends got eagles and they turned out great. 1 guy got an Irish harp that really wasn't that great, the strings in the harp weren't straight. I went last with a black jack tattoo and I think it looks kind of flat or boring. So what can I say to sum it up? Nice guy, OK artist. I would go back again
