A friend of mine told me to go see Keahi @ Easy and I'm glad I did. Had about 8hrs done on my shoulder in two sittings. Keahi had the green light to do pretty much anything he wanted and it turned out great. I would highly recommend Keahi and any of the other three tattoo artist @ the shop. They all do great work!!. I can't forget to mention Nani because she is nothing but nice!=)
Review Source:I got my first tattoo here a couple of years ago from Keahi. I had been wanting a tattoo for a while, but it was sort of an impulsive decision to go in that day. Keahi was very patient with me as I knew I wanted my grandpa's initials on my arm, but couldn't decide on a font. He helped me decide on one and got to work on getting me all set up. I was somewhat nervous, being that I absolutely HATE needles and getting shots at the doctor. However, this was something I wanted really bad, so I told myself to just suck it up. Lol. Keahi was super mellow and put me at ease and he did it really quickly (but did a good job of course), so it wasn't really painful. And when I started to think about it, it was finished! Quick and easy and I still love my tattoo. It's adorable (not usually what you think of when you think of tattoos) and I've received so many compliments on it. I'm glad I came to Easy Choppers. I have since gotten another tattoo elsewhere because I wanted to get one with my sister and we were not in Washington at the time. I wish I had come here. If my hubby allows me, I'll get another one. Here. Ha ;)
Review Source:I recently got my first tattoo here. Â I had been thinking about wanting a certain tattoo for awhile, and I randomly did a Google Search for tattoo shops in Bellevue since I live in Bellevue; Easy Choppers & Tattoos showed up in my search, so, based on the Positive Yelp Reviews, I stopped by to see the shop, and to ask if anyone had time for a Drop-In.
The shop was clean and well organized. Â The woman behind the counter answered all of my questions. Â I wanted a very small tattoo, and asked for a possible discount, but she explained that their minimum fee is based on the necessity to "set-up" and clean the equipment, which made me feel good because cleanliness seems most important to me in a tattoo shop.
The price was typical compared to the other shops that I had looked at in the past.
Artist "Jim" gave me the tattoo; he was polite, professional, and answered my questions well.
The tattoo didn't hurt, but like I said, it is small, and on my wrist.
I was given an easy to understand instructional sheet on how to care for my new tattoo afterwards.
So, if/when I decide to get another tattoo, I will go back to Easy Choppers & Tattoos, and I recommend their shop.
I have been getting tattooed for almost 10 years. I recently relocated to Washington and was nervous about finding a new artist. I had been going to the same artist all these years and he was amazing. I chose this shop because of a recommendation from a friend that I trusted.
I had a best friend coming to visit and she wanted to get her first tattoo with me. So I made appointments for both of us. Worst experience being tattooed that I have ever had. The artist was not personable and a complete tattoo snob. He treated me as if I was ignorant about tattoos, which is definitely not the case. The front desk receptionist was a snob as well. My friend was nervous and he chose to ignore what it is that she wanted and talked her into something else. Needless to say she is having hers covered by my artist in Utah, and I just had mine fixed. The tattoos were sloppy, both were simple outline tattoos, so they shouldn't have been. The lines weren't straight and were not defined. Overall it was a bad experience and a bad tattoo. I would strongly recommend another shop.
I had a great experience getting my second tattoo! Sage was my artist, he did my son's baby feet on my ribs ( hurt like a son of a bitch!). But he talked me threw it with some funny stories about customers they had in the shop. All in all super professional, clean, friendly, and a great atmosphere! Defiantly going back for my other tattoos!
Review Source:I cannot say enough good things about Easy. Â When I got my first tattoo, I was scared shitless. Â Keahi was amazing and gave me exactly what I wanted, while reassuring me and being extremely understanding. Â A few months later, my husband and I both went back for more substantial pieces. Â Keahi designed an absolutely gorgeous arm piece that is about half way finished on my husband. Â We threw out a few random ideas and his idea was absolutely perfect. Â I saw Sage for my second piece and could not be happier. Â I gave him very little direction and pretty much let him do his thing and it worked out fantastically. Â I can't wait to be in Seattle next to get another piece and so Keahi can work on my husband's arm some more.
Review Source:I got my very first tattoo here. I was not sure what exactly what I wanted but had a basic idea and Sage was very helpful in giving me a final design. Very talented staff, very clean and professional. I went here based on yelp review and I was happy to see the result and got an awesome first experience.
Review Source:Yay! Â I went here based on the reviews and I wasn't disappointed. Â I got my first tattoo almost a week ago (via Sage). Â He drew up what I wanted based on a very loose idea, tweaked it and then helped me decide what size would be best. He was very patient with me when I got the jitters and gave me art that I'm happy to have as a permanent part of my body. Â It will be a while before I do it again (it hurt more than I anticipated) but when I'm ready I'll be calling Sage for an appointment.
Review Source:My sister and I both got awesome tattoos! Â The art is really fresh and crisp. Â All the staff were really friendly, helpful and honest. Â My sister got the best cover up tattoo work ever! Â Keahi did sharp, crisp lettering for me (and super fast!). Â Reasonable pricing, clean shop, friendly people.
Review Source:The folks at Easy came recommended to me by a close friend who is covered in tats (you can't get a better recommendation than that in my experience).
I wasn't disappointed. Easy has a clean environment, friendly front desk folks, and talented, friendly artists. My design was done quickly and the work was fast and relatively painless. What's more, they were willing to do some additional design work free for my wife to help to select her next piece -- I really appreciated the gesture.
One tip -- pay attention to the parking signs -- some of the parking spots near the shop are reserved and you will be towed if you park there.
I've been going here for 5 years and I have nothing but wonderful things to say about the guys and the shop in general.
I've had Keahi and Sage do work for me and they are amazing! Their styles are so different but between the guys who work there you'll find someone to do exactly what you need.
I came in for a tattoo on my side and wanted Keahi to do it. Â He was completely honest with me and told me he didn't feel comfortable with the style I had chosen but found Sage to do it for me. All of the work I've had done here is beautiful and very well done! I wouldn't go anywhere else for my tattoos.
The fact that the guys are totally hilarious helps, too!  Despite the fact that I am in pain almost every time I leave the place (as is expected  when you are getting a tattoo) I still always managed to have a good laugh with all of them.  It's obvious that they really love what they do and they want you to love whatever is you get!  I honestly, always recommend them to anyone looking to get a tattoo and will continue to do so!  In one word, they're awesome!
Oh and when you go, I hope you enjoy the bird and the amusing sign above the front desk.
This is one of the finest Tattoo shops I've ever been in. Everyone who works here is helpful, knowledgeable, and very good at what they do.
Let's face it, getting a tattoo is big deal, and your first time can be nerve racking....afterall it's a permanent commitment. But from the moment you step into Easy, you are faced with a team of people ready to put your mind at ease with their expertise on design and placement. Each artist takes great pride in the work they do, so they are always careful to make sure the right artist is chosen for the job. Once you are in the chair, they walk you through the steps, offer comforting words to keep your mind off the pain, and make sure you know how to care for the tattoo during the healing process. Several tattoos later, I am still loyal to this crew for all my ink.
So you've decided to get a tattoo.
This alone is a brave decision, not because the procedure involves an oscilating needle injecting ink into your skin around 300 times per minute...but because you're going to have to explain your tattoo to Ba-Jillions of curious sheeple until you finally get locked up. Whether it's a half-sleeve based on abstract Baroque art or a little pink heart right above your thong...it is going to be assumed there is a massively deep inner meaning behind the image.
Trust me, they're gonna ask...and you're gonna have to explain. Welcome to the ranks of the proud tattooed Americans. This responsibility can be a lifetime of stress, so the last thing you need on your mind when getting tattooed is worry about shop cleanliness, safety, talent, and quality.
Enter Easy Choppers and Tattoos. These guys are the real deal, hands down and no holds barred. Four artists tattooing for the love of the art, and bringing to the table a variety of styles and techniques.
Ok, ok...so talent is covered, but what else? If you take a gander upwards of this review at the business address, you will see they're located in downtown Bellevue. This means several things. Most obviously, to get there you're gonna need to actually go to Bellevue. This means dealing with the Bellevue people, traffic, and general snobbishness the town is well known for. However, like an oasis in the vastness of the Gobi Desert, Easy Choppers and Tattoos provides a sactuary environment of very humble and cool individuals concerned with YOUR happiness, not upholding an image.
Shop cleanliness is taken extremely seriously. Given the social nature of Bellevue, and the fact Easy is (to my knowledge) the only tattoo shop downtown, the business has faced endless scrutiny from the community as to whether or not safety is at the forefront of their operations. Never, in nearly a decade of operation, has a health related incident occured. This could be attributed to company sanitation policies involving both chemical and autoclave sterilization.
Drop-ins are welcome to stop by, check out the shop, and peruse the large volume of flash and artist portfolios, though most tattoo work will require making an appointment - the price of a successful business. Whether you'd like one of the available images inked or something custom created that's all your own...these guys can get it done in a reasonable amount of time.
It's a lot of work and dedication to keep something like this business running but talk a little with Keahi and you'll find a most relaxed person very at home with what's going on. Comfortable chairs, a large plasma tv, and hundreds of dvd's to choose from provide great entertainment during sessions long or short.
The prices are reasonable for quality tattoo work. This isnt some sketchy looking shop in a neighborhood you wouldn't want to traverse after dark and as many have said in the past, "a good tattoo's not cheap and a cheap tattoo's not good".
Ultimately, everyone with tattoos has their own "favorite" shop. However, if after speaking to your tattooed friends about their favorite spots, you're still up in the air with your decision...you owe it to yourself to at least stop by and check out Easy Choppers and Tattoos. You won't be disappointed.
I agree w/ the previous review, these boys are stellar. Â I was 17 for my first tat, got it at taylor made on Capitol hill. Â I love it still as it was a tribute to my grandfather after he passed away but nothing compared to the tattoo I would get from Sage at Easy some 13 years later. Â I have a half body piece starting at my right shoulder blade wrapping down and all the way around to my hip. Â The "Rev" (the owner and son of main owner) runs a neat and clean shop and all his guys ensure that is upheld. Â Sage was so sanitary, totally gentle and they all made me feel right at home. Â Even nick named me champ cuz I did sessions of 5 hours or longer w/o so much as a flinch. Â I had 5 sessions in all, over 27 hours of work and the outcome was the most beautiful part of my bod! Â I love my tat and if you go to these guys, you will too!!! Â Way to go Easy!! Â You guys are the best. Â

When I was eighteen I got the brilliant idea to get a tattoo with my best friend. Â So we found this place in Bellevue and did it! Â (Really, that's about how it went.) Â
For a very unresearched tattoo, this went VERY well. Â A man named Jay tattooed a purple and blue seahorse on my lower right back. Â I almost passed out, so he gave me some Mike and Ike's. Â He was nice. Â
Being the naive kid that I was, I don't think I tipped him. Â Oops. Â I feel like an ass, now. Â
Anyway, now it is six and a half years later and the seahorse tattoo still looks amazing. Â I love it. Â Thanks to Jay for making it good and thanks to myself for choosing a tattoo that wasn't stupid.
