Lisa Orth Custom Tattooing

I got my first tattoo with my sister from Lisa Orth and she books like 5 months out in advance. I had to reschedule once, but I finally got it done in May. We talked to her about designs via email (I would've like to have done it in person) and she isn't very responsive. But don't let that deter you!! (I was a bit put off about it, especially since I hadn't gotten a tattoo before). We ended up finalizing the design day of, which once again, is not my way of doing things. BUT Lisa's "bedside manner" is awesome! She puts you at ease, walks you through all the steps, and is 100% genuine. We were with her for over 3 hours, and I never felt uneasy or apprehensive. Plus our tattoo is awesome :) Definitely would recommend her for a newbie. The 5 month wait is worth it!

Just got a piece from Lisa...what can I say. This is my first tattoo, so I was a tad nervous about the whole experience. I never felt judged or wrong for any of my ideas, and walking into the shop and talking with Lisa I felt immediately at ease. She was super easy to communicate with throughout the process and she took my simple outline and made it into something beyond my imagination. The energy in the shop is very welcoming, not at all like I expected. If I decide to get more tattoos I will definitely do everything in my power to make it back to Seattle to get them from Lisa.

I walked in very excited about getting a tattoo or getting my ideas heard since they have amaizing reviews however when I walked in I spoke with LISA about what I wanted done and she interrupted me and said she's booked till September so I had to talk to TARA who heard my talk without looking up at me. After that mess, Lisa told me that I can schedule an appointment with Tara for Thursday. Instantly she requested $50 cash or credit! No one paid close attention to me so why on earth would I leave a deposit!

First you meet the customer, talk about ideas then and only then do you request a deposit and appointment!
