I've heard the pain of a tattoo is similar to the experience of childbirth - terrible while it's happening, but the end result is so fantastic that you barely remember how much it hurt after. While I don't have kids  - I do have an amazing tattoo, and hardly remember the torturous 6 hours it took to get there - thanks to this place. I noticed Fallen Star heading home after getting buzzed at Gammon Coach House and made a note to check it out. I looked over the Facebook page, and drove by about 50 more times before I got the courage to pop in. When I first walked in to Fallen Star the first thing that stood out to me was how friendly everyone was - I have been to a few places in Aurora where I felt like I should apologize for being there, such a turn off. The space is also really bright and clean, and the whole consultation made me feel safe and excited. I put down a $20 deposit and about a week later my sketch was completed. I was super nervous that I might not like it, or it wouldn't match what was in my head, but it was even better than I had hoped. I went in a few days later to get the actual tattoo done and given the fact I am a huge baby, pain wise, I was really nervous that I wouldn't make it through the whole process, but Anthony is a total dream - he made me feel comfortable, took breaks when I needed to, and was honestly just such a nice guy. I had my thigh done which took about 6 hours because he was super thorough - and because all the detail made it so kick ass! He is incredibly talented, and I cannot stop looking at the end result - which is beyond stunning. I had such a positive experience at Fallen Star from the initial consultation through the end result - all the guys there are professional, friendly and crazy good at what they do. With all that, plus their ultra-competitive pricing, you need to check this spot out - especially before they get as busy as I'm sure they will soon.
