OK, finally got my ink yesterday and couldn't be more pleased with the art and the artist! Â Honestly, I couldn't imagine anyone else other than Robert Corso doing any work for me. Â He is incredibly patient and caring, I was worried he was going to get ticked off at me for not feeling some of the ideas he was coming up with, but no, his concern for me being pleased and involved with the design rang through. Â Plus, the process itself was enjoyable, learning about how he got involved in doing tattoos, swapping wicked awesome jokes, giving me suggestions for aftercare and add ons later. Â I had an idea of what I wanted and with Robert's vision and talent, he gave me a tattoo I wasn't expecting when I went in, but now that I have it, I love it! Â I trust this guy and have full confidence in his vision, his care and his skill level! Â I'll post a pic of the completed tattoo soon! Â Also, paid him 100 bucks up front and when I asked him what I owed, he said we were square. Â So, tipped him 35 bucks on top of that and walked away happy and feeling like I got a damn good deal.

Â You do not see the usual scum bags that you would at any other shop in San Antonio. Â The artist take time to get to know you so they can make sure that your tattoo is exactly what you want. Â They have no problems with giving their educated professional opinions. Â All of their work is custom. Â There are no pick them and stick them at this shop. Â Your tattoo will be one of a kind. Â Robert, Jason and Mike will happily go over their sterilization process. Â When being tattooed you will be in a calm environment. Â If you do not leave their with a stomach ache from laughing so hard or just overall happy I would be shocked. Â This place is great. Â If you are looking for a trustworthy place to get a quality tattoo that will make you happy for a long time then come here. Â I assure you... you will not be disappointed. Â The owner Robert Corso has taken a lot of time to make this shop unique. Â There really is no other place like it in San Antonio. Â First timers this is a great place for you.
Review Source:Had a tat done by Robert about one month ago. Was my first tattoo and the process was great. Robert did a fantastic job on taking my idea and running with it. He added his own touches to it that made it even better then I could have imagined.
He was also very cool and mature about the process. When we found a design that we both loved, but realized it wouldn't work due to sizing issues, he had no problem and redoing it for me with another design that was a better fit.
Now that everything is healed, it still looks as good as the day he did it. Outstanding work all around. I would certainly recommend this shop, and Robert specifically to anyone.

Met Dan who just blew me away. Even though he did a piece I designed myself, I immediately felt at ease and comfortable...I gained a plethora of knowledge about the tattooing process, colors, tools, designs, deciding on tattoo placements... and the list goes on.
Dan was SO professional on top of being one of the kindest people I've had the privilege of meeting. A genuine, great soul. Can't wait till my next visit :)
I'm not sure how to review a tattoo shop... generally, you go where your friends are or where you've been going habitually for a long period of time. Â Well, unless you're one of those people that gets drunk and ends up at a shop by the airport. Â
This place is clean, professional and as far as tattoo shops go, fun. Â Seriously fun. Â You won't find egos or, basically, bullshit that normally comes with the territory. Â
If you love your current tattoo artist - go here. Â If you're looking for a fresh take on an idea running around in your head - go here. Â If you got drunk and ended up at a place by the airport - go here to get it fixed.
In total, my girl and I have had 7 pieces done by Dan Barnett and plan on getting many more!
These two artists are GREAT at their work. If it's your 1st tattoo you're going for, they'll take the time to explain every step of the process to minimize anxieties and keep you well informed. Very clean shop, and detailed sterilization process. Â Reasonable prices, and most importantly beautiful personalized tattoos! Â Just stop in and have a chat with Robert, you'll be very impressed!
