I've had several pieces done here over the past 5-6 years and have Dave, Guillermo and crew have never failed to impress. From 9-10 hours of custom work to 30 minutes of dumb tattoos you thought of on a whim, they always give the same attentiveness to detail and artistry. I'm sure I will collect other tattoos from other artists as time progresses, but the guys at GCF are my standard and have also educated me on what a good tattoo and a good artist is.
For the reviewers slamming the attitude, etc. Don't be a dumbass...don't price shop for your tattoo, don't get pissed off when a professional, experienced tattoo artist tells you it is a bad idea. Like I said, don't be a dumbass, don't come with attitude of your own. You want to piss off the person putting permanent ink on your body? You should probably explore other body modifications such as filling the space between your ears.
My experience here was great. Â Dave treated me like a real person. Â He didn't act like I was bothering him when I walked in and wanted to get something done. Â I've gotten that type of attitude in other shops. If he wanted to be arrogant he could be, he's fairly well known in the industry, just do some googling. As for the tattoo, it turned out great. Â I would recommend Dave to anybody. Â This was the first time he worked on me or the first time I ever met him.
Review Source:So, I did have a positively GLOWING review on here for this location, but not so much anymore! I went in try and get some tattoos priced and was ignored by the only person there for some time once it was obvious I wasn't getting tattooed THAT specific day. He also kept deflecting my questions about getting color on the sleeve I'm working on by telling me that I should go "back to the artist that started that big ole piece", even after I explained TWICE that I moved here from Florida, and it's not like I can drive 7 hours to get some ink. He was a jerk, and kept trying to get me to go to another artist. Not exactly good news for your business, is it?
