I've had several pieces done here over the past 5-6 years and have Dave, Guillermo and crew have never failed to impress. From 9-10 hours of custom work to 30 minutes of dumb tattoos you thought of on a whim, they always give the same attentiveness to detail and artistry. I'm sure I will collect other tattoos from other artists as time progresses, but the guys at GCF are my standard and have also educated me on what a good tattoo and a good artist is.

For the reviewers slamming the attitude, etc. Don't be a dumbass...don't price shop for your tattoo, don't get pissed off when a professional, experienced tattoo artist tells you it is a bad idea. Like I said, don't be a dumbass, don't come with attitude of your own. You want to piss off the person putting permanent ink on your body? You should probably explore other body modifications such as filling the space between your ears.

My experience here was great.  Dave treated me like a real person.  He didn't act like I was bothering him when I walked in and wanted to get something done.  I've gotten that type of attitude in other shops. If he wanted to be arrogant he could be, he's fairly well known in the industry, just do some googling. As for the tattoo, it turned out great.  I would recommend Dave to anybody.  This was the first time he worked on me or the first time I ever met him.

So, I did have a positively GLOWING review on here for this location, but not so much anymore! I went in try and get some tattoos priced and was ignored by the only person there for some time once it was obvious I wasn't getting tattooed THAT specific day. He also kept deflecting my questions about getting color on the sleeve I'm working on by telling me that I should go "back to the artist that started that big ole piece", even after I explained TWICE that I moved here from Florida, and it's not like I can drive 7 hours to get some ink. He was a jerk, and kept trying to get me to go to another artist. Not exactly good news for your business, is it?

I will never go here again. Upon arriving, I notice the tattoo artist outside on the phone. Im not sure if there were any more artist inside in the back, but we only saw one. As we approached the door he was ending his call and walked in behind us and walked straight to the back to a customer without say a word! Not a single hello, im busy, I'll be right with you or how can I help you?  NOTHING!!!! We stood there for 10-15 mins and was NEVER acknowedge! This guy was a middle aged caucasion, that was bald. I wish I knew his name, because I would put it out there. This place is NOT professional and a complete waste of gas to even drive too! It might be suitable for established customers who don't mind poor customer service or rudeness, but not for me or anyone who requires professional service. I end up driving 45 mins to another place where I was treated with respect!!! Believe all the poor reviews on this place. Esspecially about their attitudes. They lost $400 for being unprofessional!

This is the only place I trust to do my tattoos.

I grew up in Snellville, so this place was just around the corner for me. This is THE place everyone went to to get their tattoos done. I've gotten 2 done here and my mom has gotten 3!

    A couple of things:

The tattoo artists are straight up with you. As mentioned in the review before mine, they don't do foot tattoos. They won't tattoo a gf or bf's name on you (they are doing you a favor here). They won't give you a tattoo that will start to bleed together in 4 - 5 years time (unlike many others who will and do!). This is all because they value the integrity of their art! They put the customer's need first which don't always coincide with their wants.

Upon entering this place, be ready to get heckled. If you are getting a small heart or a cliche japanese character tattoo, they will heckle you. Just about anything you get they will heckle you, unless it is a giant back piece or something really macho. It is all in good fun. If you are chill about it, they warm up to you. I think it is their way of testing if you really want your tattoo or not. If you can't defend your tattoo, frankly you shouldn't be getting it.

The tattoo artists here may be a little on the arrogant side, but they know their stuff and have the art degrees to prove it.

Must be 18 + to get tatted, no children in the store, and no drunks will get tatted!

I went here to get my toes tattooed. (before I actually got my toes tattooed.)I have finger tattoos, foot tattoos etc.
Some asshole who works here totally blew me off and said he couldn't do foot tattoos because they were illegal.
I do not understand why anyone would recommend this outhouse of a tattoo shop to another human being. I guess if I wanted a "kickass" nautical star this place would have been cool. But I don't.
