Henna Traditions

Swati did my bridal henna this past June and she was amazing. She gave me a great consult, took very detailed notes on what I wanted and the final product was beautiful. I got the peacocks, flowers, bride and groom, and most importantly ELEPHANTS on my hands and arms. My feet looked great, too. 1. I got married in Carmel Valley and it was surprising how difficult it was to find an artist that was willing to travel 1.5 hours. She got herself to the henna venue on her own. Her car broke down on the way, but she still showed up early. Amazing!
2. She works hard! My henna took 6-7 hours. We started at 12pm. After she finished with me, she went to work on other female family members. She worked late into the night, well after I had gone to bed for my beauty sleep, easily 12 hours without a complaint.
3. Very reasonably priced.
4. No dies or artificial additives in her henna. That dark color is all natural.

Swati is truly an artist. Her designs are beautiful and creative ranging from traditional intricate Indian designs to modern & bold designs. For any henna events, the best part is that she has something fabulous for all different age-groups from 3 year old to 90 year old. She uses traditional henna paste, which is 100% natural so I didn't have to worry about allergies on the day of my occasion.

Swati is very professional, friendly, punctual and easy to get in touch with. I'd highly recommend her to anybody who wants something unique and gorgeous.

Swati is amazing!  I cannot believe how quickly she works, all while creating gorgeous designs.  She freestyle invented an amazing pattern on my hand, up my wrist.  It lasted two weeks and was so beautiful to show off.  She is friendly and the perfect henna party star attraction!
