I never write reviews but  this place is worth it. Customer service is outstanding and the place is very clean with good vibes. Isaac was very patient and sweet, he spent so much time helping me get exactly what I wanted. His work is neat and symmetrical, my tattoo came out perfect!!! Other staff is also helpful and friendly. I am definitely recommending this place to my friends.
Review Source:Okay I just want to start off by saying I really love the tattoo I got here. It came out looking great!!! BUT...I was told by my artist that I could come in for a touch up whenever that all I had to do was call the shop and ask to set up an appointment. So I called the shop and asked if I could speak to my artist. They said she wasn't there so I left a message. A week later after not hearing back I decided to call again. Same thing again. So I waited another week and called back. I left a message for the THIRD time. I still have not gotten a call back. Their communication and customer service kinda sucks. So as a result, I'm going to pay a different guy to do a little touch up. I'm a pretty patient person and I understand that people got stuff to do and mistakes are made but having to call three times and still not hear back is a little ridiculous.

Most of my work has been done by Isaac who has helped with advice for color and design.
I've brought my girlfriend, cousin and one of my friends to get ink here and another considering it. If you have any intentions of getting tattoos, this has got to be the place to go. You really can't go wrong with any of the artists here.
I love this studio and my artist, Chelsea. I got my first large piece done here, and it was a great experience. The artists are really chill and easy to get along with. The studio has a welcoming ambiance and I personally really like how they decorated and have comfortable seats/couches. My artist, Chelsea, was absolutely amazing. She was really patient with me and helped me keep my wits about me because I had asked her if we could talk while she tattooed my side. She was able to keep my mind off the pain and complete an AMAZING piece for me. I especially liked the studio because she had taken me into a private room so I could undress into my bathing suit and lay down comfortably, and not have to be embarrassed with people passing by and looking at her work on my side.
Something else that I liked about this location is that they are right next to the beach! So after some ink, I was able to just walk down to the beach, pier, and restaurants. You just cannot go wrong with this place.
My daughter and I got our first tattoos for her 18th Birthday. Great experience, Isaac and Kylie were both very nice and patient with our nerves and questions. We both got our own personalized tattoos and they turned out great! Both Kylie and Isaac were very nice, easy-going, and professional. It all went fairly quickly and turned out just how we wanted. The shop had a great atmosphere and made us both feel very welcome and comfortable. We will both definitely go back for any future tattoos and will recommend Hermosa Ink to everyone.

Im currently on vacation down in Redondo, I wanted a new piercing a helix. I actually waned 2 (im such a geek). But when I went in I was greeted instantly, and got it all done within in 10 mins. Juanita is great, so make sure to ask for her! She actually talked with me (which helped me calm my nerves). Shes also very gentle, I was expecting it to hurt alot more then it really did. I love them!
Review Source:thanks to Gabe I added an anchor on my wrist that I had been wanting for awhile. Â me, being clumsy, tore a scab and pulled some ink. Â he happily touched it up for me after it healed and its great. Â I will back when I get the courage to redo my foot tattoo... until then, great place, great staff, friendly and very accommodating!
Review Source:This is the second time that I have been tattooed by Isaac. My first tattoo was done by him back in August and was a small Harry Potter tattoo. He was very professional and did a wonderful job. My second tattoo was a memorial anchor tattoo for my father. I gave him pictures of what I wanted and he put it together so beautifully( I've received tons of compliments so far)! The prices are very reasonable for such great work. In the future, I am definitely going back. Their shop also has a great atmosphere and whoever decorated it did an awesome job. Thank-you Isaac!
Review Source:My cousin and I have been looking around at places to get her first tattoo and my second and we initially had plans to go to another place but then reading reviews from this place I wanted to try it out! I called around 7 and asked if they had any availability for today and she said that they were totally open for the rest of the night so we headed over there around 8:30pm and even though it was late they were more than willing to help us. Parking was easy there was a lot of street parking and we parked right out front but meter didn't end til midnight and then Isaac the tattoo artist actually told us to just park in their garage which was awesome because I really didn't want to keep feeding the meter. Anyways when we arrived there was two people there; Michelle, who was super nice and very helpful, and Isaac who was the actual tattoo artist.
I wanted an infinity sign with my sisters name weaved in it and Isaac had no problem sketching something up for me and was super open for changes and ideas. Michelle who worked with him actually had him draw it out with both the names right side up instead of one upside down. And it was a great input because now that i think of it, it would have looked a little weird with one name upside down. Anyways when he was done sketching it out he showed it to me and didn't have any problem tweaking it if need be, but I trusted that it was going to look good after it was done! Which it did! I was super satisfied with the final product and they both had to stay a little after the store was closed and didn't complain one bit and it didn't feel like they were rushing us out the door!. Great customer service! When we were done Michelle gave us some paperwork and tips on how to keep our tattoos up and sent us both on our way! Super happy customers and we both recommend people to check this place out!.
I went into hermosa ink for my first tattoo. I was nervous about it and I was concerned more about the 'energy' of the tattoo artist than anything else....then, the clouds parted and David entered the room in slow motion as doves flew from behind him. David is super laid back, I think he moved here from Canada or something. Anyway, he is very patient and worked with me to create something that complimented my figure. He was quick and gentle. I love the result!
I took my dad in 2 days later to get a little somethin' done on his inner arm and David worked with him to find the right font. My dad is super high maintenance and David didn't stray from his patient reputation. He was done quickly and it looked great!

All I can say is WOW! Â They say good tattoos aren't cheap and cheap tattoos aren't good. Â Well if you come here, you will get great tattoos for an excellent price that will be done by real tattoo artists. Â I came here in June to get my LA Kings tattoo and Gio hooked it up! Â He gave me a run down on the process. Â He also took time to draw it out, maybe about 4 days. Â When he showed me the final drawing I was amazed. Â My tattoo took close to 3 hours however Gio made the time fly. Â We didn't talk much as I wanted him to concentrate on his art work so I didn't want to bother him, however he did check up on my a lot to make sure I was ok. Â Gio does not have a heavy hand so it wasn't too painful and the tattoo came out amazing. Â All of the staff at Hermosa Ink is great. Â They're really friendly and charge a reasonable price. Â I would definitely come back here for more ink

My bf and I went in on our 1-year Anniversary to get tatted and our experience was great. Andrea tatted both of our wrists and gave us a great deal. She was professional, personable, and made the experience even more memorable for us :)
We walked in without appointments and were promptly taken care of. The shop was easy to find and the work-area was clean and comfy. The only con I can think of is the metered parking... so make sure you have plenty of change!

Beautiful shop, good artists and Andrea has an art school background and did the most beautiful colored, shaded tat and really cared about the outcome and all idea changes to a drawing we brought in and that was very much appreciated. I wish they had a lot more pictures of each artists tats after they are completed. I want to get one on my back by Andrea but I will have to save up the 300$ I was quoted. BTW I was a tat virgin & with all their expertise I wish someone had warned me to take some time to try various areas for placement of the tat because I didn't know what I was doing and though I like my tat I am not happy with the location I chose that moves a lot and every time I move some important details are out of place.
Maybe they should have a handout they give to newbies as required reading.
Was in Redondo Beach visiting from NJ and stopped and checked out some tattoo shops. Decided on Hermosa Ink and choose Gabe. Had a large Celtic Cross done . Gabe did a great piece of art nice tight lines and got the three shades of green just right. Healed up great looks great. My next trip back to Cali will bring my back to Hermosa Ink.
Review Source:Just got my first tattoo done for my 18th birthday at Hermosa Ink. The staff was super friendly and helpful (i was a nervous wreck). They were all really understanding and calmed me down. David was my artist. I changed my design twice before we finally did the tattoo and he was so calm about it. A lot of people would get annoyed, but he didn't (if he did, it didn't show). The tattoo was so easy and painless and it was REALLY quick. I got a rose on my back that took about a half hour, my mom got small cursive writing on her wrist and it only took about 10 minutes. Overall, it was a really great experience and I'd go back in a heart beat. My tattoo looks soooooo good! I got my nose pierced here a while ago and it was a similar experience. Staff was super friendly, got in, painless process, got out. Definitely recommend this place.
Review Source:This is the nicest looking tattoo shop I've ever been in. I've been wanting to get a piece done on my arm for a long time. I've waited years and thinking about how I wanted it and what it would be. I took a chance on this place and walked in. Talked to Gabe who is such a great guy. Showed him what my idea was and he drew up something way better then I expected. We couldn't finish the whole piece that day but I already cant wait to get it finished. The colors are great. Everyone there was really nice. I tell all my friends and family to go there and see Gabe.

Gabriel was my artist and I could not be happier. I have several tattoos that I have had done in other shops. Hermosa Ink was by far the best shop I have ever been too. Artist was Awesome, informative and quick and the Receptionist was very helpful.

Horrible.  Scheduled a couples tattoo 2 weeks ago for valentines day and confirmed.  When my fiancé and I showed up we were told our artist David had left and she could not reach him on the phone. We were told sorry about our bad luck and if we would like to reschedule.  Totally ruined our valentines day.  Very unprofessional.  That's what we get for trying to support our local tattoo shop.
Review Source:I was very happy with the environment at Hermosa Ink. I went in the day before I planned to get my tattoo. I spoke with Gio who gave me a rundown of prices and even offered to come in before his shift  the next day to do my tattoo as well as my friends. I was thrilled with the turn out. I got two sayings in very small script that needed clean detail and he did an excellent job. I couldn't be happier with the turn out.
Thumbs up to Hermosa Ink. I'd go back any day of the week.
Went here for a piercing, they took me straight away i had a guy called Gio who was a cool guy. Friendly, pleasant... He told me the does & donts it was quick & easy. Would i go back for another piercing, sure. I have no idea on what prices should be for cartilage piercing (guess i should of done some research) but it cost me $60 seems little pricey but i didnt have anything to go off other then having my ear lobes pierced many moons ago when i was like 14!
Review Source:Isaac and I have been working on a quarter sleeve that is very sentimental to me. He has been very understanding of all the changes and additions and his work is outstanding...I get more compliments on the colors and his ability for realism.
His attention to detail is incredible and he has a very steady hand. He has also done a redo of a very bad previous tattoo by another artist...i now love love love that tattoo when i hated it before!
I have watched Gabe and David both do large pieces and they were amazing. Most of all I was impressed with the cleanliness of the shop, the friendly welcoming feelings, and the fact that my arm looks amazing!

I got my first tattoo yesterday. Â I had met Christian and Dave a few weeks before and they talked me out of what I wanted to do (Thank God!!!). Â I gave the tattoo a great deal of thought and went back to talk to them once more about another idea. Â Christian was very helpful and introduced me to Minh who drew up a version. Â It was great!! Â Made an appointment, had the tattoo done and am very pleased. Â After it was done, the other employees were very helpful in explaining post-tat care and told me to call anytime.
I don't know if I will get another tattoo, but these guys made my first experience a great one.

Love Hermosa Ink. This was my first tattoo experience- I was just getting something small on my foot but they were extremely welcoming and helpful. Michele at the front desk showed me a bunch of different font options on the computer until we finally settled on me doing it myself. It was only her second day but I would have thought she had been there for a while! Minh did my tattoo and was extremely professional. Initially I wanted the tattoo right on the outside edge of my right foot. Minh told me that would not be a good area for it due to its proximity to the bottom of my foot and that it would fade really easily. I was super appreciative that he did this and we decided to put it a little higher. It didn't even hurt like I had thought it would! If I ever get another tattoo I would DEFINITELY go back to Hermosa Ink. My two friends also got tattoos - one done by Isaac and one done by David. They both looked sick. Everyone was extremely happy and friendly too. I even spoke to Christian, who does piercings, for a while. If I ever get a piercing, I would definitely go to him- he is very knowledgeable, has over 20 years experience and was so friendly. I can see how tattoos can be addicting, especially at a place like this! Thanks Hermosa Ink- we may be back soon...

David did my tattoo. I just told him I wanted a cool dragon to go around my arm. He got out a marker and drew it up. He did a great job! Then there are the "perks" that you don't get at other tattoo shops... Its the beach. The entire time I'm getting a tattoo, I'm watching girls in bikinis walk by the window. They come in and ask questions, giggle a lot, and yes they are in bikinis! The stupidest thing I heard come for one of them. This girl says "I want a tattoo, but I don't know what I want, or where I want it". David and I laughed so hard! The shop itself is not like other shops. Its kinda like what a tattoo shop in the Playboy mansion would look like; Complete with a pretty blond at the front desk. Her name was Jen. She was really cool. It was not very busy the days I went cause they just opened. It felt more like a party, telling jokes and having fun. How many blondes does it take to change a diaper? I don't know ask Hugh Hefner! They have lots of flat screens on the walls playing music videos. Its really cool. David and I kept asking Jen to change the music every time something crappy came on. It was really a lot of fun; And you think being this fancy that they would charge a lot, but they charge about the same as other places. The last thing I want is a cheap tattoo for life. I bet Lamar paid $200 in Vegas for the crappy Smurf. lol

My latest tattoo is insane! David made it look so real. I also saw Gabe do an awesome tattoo on a Cajun, while I was there. Gabe did a shoulder piece that looked great. I am so happy with mine. So many people have commented on my new tattoo. It really should go in a magazine.
