Hold Fast Tattoo

Freddy has a skillful hand, creative ideas and is wonderful with color. He puts on easygoing tunes to lessen anxiety for novice tattoo collectors. Makes it all a really relaxing experience. The shop is cleaner than a doctor's office too. I don't think I'll get tattooed by anybody else unless he retires!

I had the chance to get a work of art tattoo done by carlo when he was a guest artist while I was on vacation in Fort bragg. At triangle tattoo. I was blown away by the art work he did. I got my 71 FJ40 landcruiser done with palm trees a sun and the ocean. It is amazing!!! He took his time. And is the nicest artist i have had the pleasure to meet. I get people in traffic asking me where i got my tattoo. I would definately suggest carlo!!! Just moved to oahu but will get my manta ray hawaiin style tattoo from carlo when I come back to the mainland. Aloha Dalton

i had my doubts about this place, because from the outside it doesn't look too great ( sorry). i haven't seen the new location so maybe it has improved, but the exterior really belies the interior. inside it was actually very nice and clean.
i have had work done a three other places locally, and by far this was my best experience. my artist was Freddy and he was amazing. He drew up the sketch for my tattoo very quickly and even colored it so i could get a better idea of how it would look. The work itself was excellent, Freddy is truly gifted. even though my tattoo is medium-small sized the shading and detail is awesome, and even a year later the colors are bright and beautiful.
Freddy was very nice and friendly as well, something i appreciate, in some of the tattoo shops around sac if you arent covered in tattoos they give you attitude, this was not the case here. pricing here is also very reasonable, honestly for the amount of time and work that went into my tattoo i feel i was under-charged.
most importantly i really felt he worked with me to give me something i really loved, thank you Freddy for the awesome tat!!
