My fiancé and I walked in here for our first tattoos on a Saturday night. We could not be happier! This place is clean, has a good vibe, and most importantly our tattoos look (and feel) amazing. These guys have some true talent! They are also funny and fun to be around.
I was obviously nervous for my first time but the relaxed energy Hollywood Stars has made it no biggie. Don't know why but none of the three tattoos I haven't gotten here have hurt much if at all. I've heard horror stories from friends so I'm not sure...either 1) I apparently have a higher pain tolerance even though I had needles/fear the doctor or 2) these guys perform some sort of magic that just makes the process more pain free. If you know me, the answer has to be number 2.
Anyone that asks me about places in the area I'd send them here! I'm definitely no tattoo expert but I can't imagine any place beating this. They also offer free touch ups and their prices fit for the quality of service you receive. Double thumbs up and thanks again guys!!
The place is awesome. The artists are super creative and the communication is live. They really listen and they really deliver. Kana is the man. He has done 12 pieces for me. Mad skills & insane talent. Great vibe at Hollywood Stars. Cool atmosphere. If they served sandwiches, I'd I live there.
Review Source:Got my second tattoo here about a year ago, and I still love it! Everyone here is extremely professional and friendly at the same time. They were also really patient with me when I was being really choosy with the font I wanted. It's a really comfortable environment. Kana did my tattoo and even though it was just simple wording, it came out so clean and exactly how I pictured it. My friend was so impressed that we came back a few days later for her to get a new tattoo & her belly button re pierced. I love this place! I only plan on getting one more tattoo, but I will most definitely be coming here when the time is right.
Review Source:I'm old enough to know better than to get a piercing at a swap meet. Against my better judgment, I did it anyway, with L.J. and another friend. The next day, my nose stud fell out and I couldn't get it back in.
I Yelped a tattoo/piercing spot close to my place and Hollywood Stars Tattoo popped up. Â I rushed over to the shop and was immediately greeted by the friendly young woman and two dudes behind the counter. Everyone in there (both employees and customers) seemed to be having a good time.. I immediately relaxed at the positive, but professional, vibe that I got from the place.
Louie ended up helping me, and he explained that the first piece of jewelry was too small, and then he showed me his nose stud that was reassuringly larger. The hole had closed up, so he had to re-pierce, and he was very patient as my eyes teared up involuntarily and I bled all over the place. It hurt like crazy!
He only charged me $20 to fix my botched nose piercing, and I would definitely return to Hollywood Stars for future tattooing and piercing needs!

I moved to LA a few years ago and was looking for a new tattoo place. I've driven by Hollywood Stars a ton of times, so I decided to yelp it (like I pretty much do w everything in my life.) When I saw how amazing the reviews were, I knew this was my new place. I read a lot of really good things about Erik, so I decided to get an appt with him. I called him and literally less than an hour later I was in getting my tattoo! I've had 4 tattoos before the one I wanted, but I was getting this on my side/ribs, so I knew it would be a bitch. I told Erik I was a little worried about the pain, and he told me that he would do the tattoo slow so it wouldn't kill me as much. The tattoo turned out so much more amazing then I even expected! Erik is super down to earth, and everyone else in the shop was extremely friendly and nice. This is definitely my new spot! Check them out if ur looking for a new tattoo shop!
I was looking to get my ear pierced (tragus), so I googled  a body piercing shop near my zip code, Hollywood Stars Tattoo popped up and had great reviews so I jumped in the car and headed over. The moment I walked in I was greeted as if I was a family member by Eric and Louis, the entire staff was friendly, welcoming and knowledgable. After my awesome piercings were completed I spent an hour shopping in the boutique they have onsite. I found the best little bracelets and rings that were very unique and the price was right!!!!
Thank yo so much everyone for making me feel like a family member, I will be bring back friends and hope to get a new tattoo. I love my piercings!!!!!!!
The greatest group of guys EVER!!. I never experienced a place like this before. Not only are they talented artists, but they are ALL comedians which took my mind off the buzzing needles. Â I am extremely pleased with my tattos by Joe. Yay! Â I will be back :-) I'm definitely a satisfied customer.

One of my frineds came here and loved it so I decided to try it. The people there are very friendly; more than five different people complimented my finished tattoo. Review Source:i recently went to Hollywood Stars Tattoo to get a couple piercings. I knew that i wanted to specifically come over just by the engagement I had over the phone prior to coming in. I believe I spoke to Eric and he was great. He was very informative and I found him asking me more questions than I asked him, which I didn't mind, because that showed me that he cared and wanted my business. I didn't feel as if I should have gotten my piercings elsewhere because the other places I called in which I had questions about pretty much rushed me off the phone. When I went to get my piercings, I loved the theme of the shop. It was very clean and everybody in there welcomed me with a positive attitude. The pain of the piercings was not intense like I thought thanks to Luis who helped me through the quickness of my piercings. He was very friendly and I appreciated the check up in which other places that I went to go get piercings, they pretty much tell you how to care and thats it. My piercings healed just fine and I would not mind going back to get more piercings (although I really don't have much else to pierce) or getting more tattoos. This place was great and I highly recommend coming here to either get a tattoo or a piercing! :)

Eric is an amazing artist. Â I got some gorgeous flowers on my arm with some amazing colors... I'm always getting compliments. Â Nice family atmosphere. Looking forward to one day getting more added to it.
I've also been pierced by Kana and was so happy with his work and Kana's overall customer service that I have brought a few of my friends to get pierced as well. Â He's amazing and always has me leaving with a smile on my face.
This shop has a chill, friendly and creative environment that sets them apart from other shops I've been in. You can go to get an amazing tattoo, while experiencing the unique atmosphere & personalities of all of the artists. Its not your average shop. The first time you go in, you will realize that you are more than just a client. You walk out knowing you will be back again. Every time I go in, something has been changed or upgraded. They take pride in their workspace and it definitely shows, they're always improving.
One of the awesome things about this place is that you can visit their Facebook page and view folders of each artists artwork. So before even going into the shop, you will already have an idea of each person's style, and who you might want to do your piece. Check out their page, its a must, and youll get a basic feel for them, and what sets them apart.
It pretty much speaks for itself with the celebrity cameos that have gotten their own work done there. If youre looking for a place to get your tat done, this is it. Once you go in, you won't want to go back to any other shops. It's a unique and creative atmosphere that will keep you coming back.
I went to this shop after talking with my artist at The Staples Center Tattoo Con a few years back. I had been sadly disappointed at the professionalism of other shops and was on the verge of giving up on finding a good shop with reliable artists... So I stopped in for a quick chat and to check the shop out.
I received amazing treatment here!!! The shop is superbly clean, the artists were VERY friendly and helpful. They gave wonderful suggestions and really make you feel like your a good friend when you walk in the front door. My artist (Art) did AMAZING work and I hardly felt any pain (which is almost unheard of for a total back piece). The price is great for the type and the detail of work you are getting. I HIGHLY recommend this shop and will keep these guys as my permanent tattoo place.

Hollywood Stars is the tattoo place my boo-piece goes to get his work done. I've always admired the shading and the detail of his tattoos. So when I finally committed to a design and placement, I came here.
I showed them the design I wanted and they immediately referred me to one of the artists, Kana (?) He was familiar with her (Audrey Kawasaki)'s work, and it comforted me to know that I could trust him with the job. I know it's just a copy of someone else's work, but if you've seen Audrey Kawasaki's fb page and the pictures people turn in of  their tattoos... it can get bad, real fast. Needless to say, mine is awesome.
He's funny, kinda nerdy, but very cool, eclectic and an awesome artist. He kept me sane throughout the 2.5 hour process, by telling me to "meow" instead of scream whenever it hurt. I walked out with white knuckles and my boo suffered from a broken hand, but it was well worth it. I get compliments whenever people see my piece. I heart it.
I think this place is owned by Eric (the guy that does bf's tats) and his brother. Eric is an amazing artist and he is extremely talented with shading. But I still like my guy better.
I went back for a free touch up, and will be going back shortly to add more to my tattoo... It's just THAT therapeutic (meow)
went here to get my fourth tattoo..the service was good. can't complain. the girl who did my tatt was really cool and of course, she was tatted everywhere. and i loved it. the other tattoo artists were cool as well, they made me laugh. I would definitely go back. their artwork is amazing. for some reason, i love being inside of a tattoo shop..lol
