After writing the review below I did some googling and it looks like this shop is CLOSED. I cannot tell you guys how devastated I am. Still on the hunt for what happened to this place and if any of the artists moved somewhere else. Will post here if I find anything, but send me a message if you know what happened please.
FYI they changed their name to Gypsy Rose.
The people who work here are so super nice. I got a piece on my ribs and it is just as good looking today as it was when I got it. He did exactly what I wanted and I would never let anyone else tattoo me ever again.
Also I love the interior. I wish my house looked like this place. Overall a very clean and relaxing place to get tattooed. Also the prices are REALLY GOOD.
And they don't smoke inside the shop anymore, if they kind of thing bothers you.
Patrick is a truly remarkable tattoo artist. He not only is a really great person who runs a family business, but he is great with lines, shading, and color. I've had six medium sized pieces done by him, and one large one. I will continue to get work done by him because he has a background in art, has an eye for tattooing, is a pleasure to be around, cares about his clients, and does some fantastic pieces.
Review Source:A friend of mine just got a tattoo here. Â She was really excited about it - it was her first. Â She showed it to me a few days after the bandage came off and said "It's just because it's new that it looks all smudgy right?" Â It looked like it was done in crayon. Â I urged her to go back and demand that they retouch it. Â Finally she did and they got it to look OK by adding some darker lines, etc. Â But it's still not a great looking tat. Â
But what's really sad is... my friend's tat is a fleur de lis. Â I mean, really, come on! Â How many thousands of those have they done by now?

I had a rough idea of what I wanted and they worked together to make it come out great. The comfortable atmosphere is what a tattoo shop should be like. I have been to many pretentious arse clowns that try to make you feel inferior and you never know until it's too late.
P took the time and educated me on his ink selection stuff I had never thought to ask before.....held interesting conversation throughout the whole appointment. I can't say enough good things about these two. Just great all around and I will be back for more...

What a great treat deep in the Bywater! I recently went in, for two separate sessions, to get a foot tattoo. With no appointment I walked in and Cassie was more than welcoming and worked with me one on one for over an hour - detailing and designing my tattoo EXACTLY how I wanted it to be. She is beyond talented and compassionate for her work and most importantly her and Patrick are such good listeners! They listened to everything I had to say and created amazing artwork for me. I have grown to adore their shop and frequently find excuses to just stop in and say hi. Their building is relaxing and Cassie and Patrick fill it with such good energy. Don't waste your time at Electric Lady Land getting denied, pushed aside, and overcharged. Come to Hubba Hubba and get a experience that goes far beyond what you pay for - and two new friends plus a fantastic tattoo! I will definetley, totally, absolutely return her for all of my tattoos.
Absolutely a fan. My sister and I came here the day before Halloween to get our tattoos. I emailed them only 3 days in advance and, although they were planning to close early, Cassie was extremely accommodating. We arrived, looked over fonts, and my sister decided she wanted to move in a different direction than the one that I had picked for myself. I went ahead with another artist (unfortunately, I cannot recall his name, which is awful... but he had a beard) and he started work. Very clean, quick, and professional. He was quiet but was good at responsive conversation, and my mind was kept off the process.
Meanwhile, Cassie pulled fonts and really helped my sister design something that she loved. Their conversation was super lively and when I was finished, we were just chatting while she did a safe and professional job, again, keeping everything extremely sanitized, constantly wiping down blood and ink, and assuredly and quickly completing the tattoo.
The pricing was extremely affordable and we were happy to leave large tips at the result.
My only qualm, and for which I took away 1 star from the "I'm a Fan" 4 stars, however, was that one of the other artists was smoking a cigarette inside while we were getting our tattoos done. Granted, he wasat the other end of the room and walking in out to the other parts of the shotgun, using ashtrays, but still it gave me the willies. I would be nervous if smoke or ash had been drifting towards my recently acquired wounds anywhere, let alone while my body is being scored.
As a non New Orleans native I had to do a lot of research on a good place to get tatted. I'm so grateful that someone suggested Hubba Hubba. It was very clean, the staff are friendly & they did a great job on my tattoo. Â It was quick & almost painless.
As far as prices go they gave me the best quote. I went to a few places and they were trying to charge me almost double of what Hubba Hubba charged.
I'd give ten stars if I could :).
