I had a great experience here. People were cool. Professional. I went in to get my tongue pierced. It took seconds. The dude who gave it was cool in addition to being very cute ; ) A young lady who had just got it done herself held my hand. I was momentarily scared. It took seconds and I didn't feel a thing after. It didn't hurt right then and there, but the pain inflamed later on. I am on my third day of the pain with my tongue. But that is normal and it is starting to die down.
I plan on getting a tattoo from here later on, a small, simple tattoo.
As one poster said, their prices are very reasonable and the people here are cool. I just hope I have no issues with a tattoo as the person did before me!
Also, after a week, my tongue COMPLETELY HEALED! No blood, only slight inflamming in the tongue, but it completely healed, no lisps, nothing.
Peace.
Well, when you get a tattoo, do your research. I did quite a bit of reading online and spoke to various people. I came to this place b/c it was en route to a place I'd read rave reviews about.
The guys working here were certainly friendly. Â They offered me a fair price of $120.
I set my arm down on a rickety stand. Every time the tattoo artist pressed into my skin, I had to consciously make sure my arm didn't move via this cheap stand.
The tattoo looked okay the day of and the day after. Afterwards, however, I noticed the work was very shoddy and I'd definitely need to get a serious touch up. It wasn't nearly dark enough and some of the lines weren't very straight.
I'd never go back to this tattoo parlor, and I recommend you go to folks w/ some experience.
This story ends well: I went to Tom at Silverlake Tattoo at 2151 W Sunset Blvd. to touch up this tattoo. He did an AMAZING job.
If you're going to get a tattoo, and you want QUALITY and EXPERIENCE, go to TOM down the street.
