This place is awesome I've been to a couple other tattoo spots in Nashville this is by far the best experience. Â My wife changed her mind on what she was getting and our artist Jason Fancher worked with her and was extremely patient. Â He'll be doing all my work from now on and I live 2 hours away!

Review Source:This is more about response than a tattoo I had done there. I emailed them from the website with my design and information, as the website says send a request and someone will get back to you in 2 or 3 days. I heard nothing for a week, then sent another email, heard nothing for another week. Then I called them, and the VM is full. I am sure they do good work, but if they cannot get back to me or even want to talk about my business, I don't feel very comfortable in them doing my work.
Review Source:I was very hesitant about getting my first tattoo. I checked reviews online before deciding on Kustom Thrills. Might not be the best way to choose a place, but that's what I did. I submitted a request on their web site and gave a sample of what I wanted for my tattoo. I heard back from Chris within a day to make  an appointment. By the time I got there, I had changed my mind about the font of my tattoo. He said he wouldn't tattoo me unless I was 100% certain about this tattoo. He tried a different font, and it was exactly what I was looking for. It took only about 15 minutes to get the tattoo. I love it! It looks so great!! There was hardly any pain. He talked to me to make me at ease. The studio is very nice and clean. I will definitely be back for my next tattoo. Thanks!!

Â So, I took my chances and bought the deal. Â After finding what I wanted, I contacted Kustom Thrills via their website, received a call back that day, and an appointment scheduled for today. Â they seem to treat every customer the same, walk-ins, folks with a few tattoos, no tattoos and a lot of tattoos. Â There is nothing intimidating about the experience here as they are completely unpretentious and very friendly. Â I was instantly at ease, even though it's been 10 years since my last tattoo. Â Brandon was GREAT to work with, and really appreciates all of his customers. Â I highly recommend this place and will go back for any other tattoos that I get!

Review Source:Being an out of towner it's a little scary getting a tattoo. I mean it is for life. My 30th birthday we roll in at noon and get on the list of people they call if they have cancellation. I'm so thankful that someone did. The awesome chick behind the counter with the rockin pin up hair was soooo nice. And her pizza led us to some of the best pizza I had in Nashville!! Anyways back to my tattoo. This place is clean. They're nice and professional. Even when I wanted to scream like a little girl. Foot tats hurt!! All guys seemed to do great. I had Rich.
Review Source:I looked all over Ga., Al., and Tn. on the Internet and was impressed with the way they expressed on their website telling how passionate they were about tattooing and that brought me in.
I was told he had a 4 hour block to do my tattoo. It took 2 hours to draw up the design and I asked for more detail and was told the design was too small to give it detail but he would make it look great. He was having personal issues that made me feel like he was rushing through it. It took a total of 1 hour for the tattoo. I have five others that are detailed and took 8,6, and 12 hours to do. The tattoo has healed and I am very disappointed with the quality of it. The face is very plain, the leg looks like a stump and the outlines are uneven and squiggly. The shading is very in consistent. I wanted it realistic and it looks cartoonish. I am going to look for an artist who can bring it back to what I in visioned.
If you do read this, I'm sorry, you probably are better than this. I don't know
If you weren't into it or what, but I've got this on for the rest of my life and I don't like
It, so now I've got to fix it.
UPDATE 05/25/12; After posting this I was contacted by the owner and he expressed how upset he was that I wasn't satisfied with my tattoo. He offered to do what ever it took to make it right. He offered to fix it, send me to another artist of my choice or a full refund. I really give it to them for standing up and taking responsibility and not blaming back on the customer like most places would.
I wish I could give this 10 stars! My fiancee and I were wanting to get tattoos together and had no idea where to go..This was my first tattoo so I definitely wanted to find the right place. After researching it on yelp we decided to check Kustom Thrills out...as soon as we walked in I felt awesome about our choice..The atmosphere is amazing..very modern design, great music and the artists were very professional and made us feel very relaxed. It felt like we were hanging out with friends. Â I gave my design to the owner (Chris) and returned two days later and was so impressed with his artwork. He did a great job and I love my tattoo...Adam did my fiance's tattoo and we were blown away by how great his artwork was. He added his expertise to the design and made it better than we ever imagined. This is the only place we will get tattoos!

We walked into KT in upon returning & got lucky with getting in w/o an appt, great quote price, & confidence our designs!! They are so great here & incredibly honest with prices!! Review Source:i got an awesome tattoo at Kustom Thrills from Katherine Gray. Â i had emailed her about my idea and made a rough sketch, but her final drawing was even more badass than i had planned. Â she added way more shading in the color than i had imagined, and the resulting effect is top notch. Â i'm absolutely thrilled with it and get compliments on it everywhere i go.
i found the artists all really friendly, the shop was a nice place to hang out, with a bitchin music selection, Â and i liked that they used their walls to showcase some local art too. Â i plan to go back as soon as possible. Â watch out Katherine, i have lots more wacky food tattoos i need...
I decided at 44 to get my first tattoo. Â I did a lot of research on all the local parlors and decided on a couple to talk to. Â The first one was so unfriendly that I didn't even consider them. Â The second was okay, but still not the feeling I was looking for from a place that is going to put something on my body that will be there forever. Â
Then, out of the blue, a friend of mine told me about Chris Saint Clark and his shop, Kustom Thrills. Â So I just stopped by to check it out. Â Wow... I knew immediately that this was the place. Â
The tattoo that I wanted was fairly detailed and I wanted it done pretty small. Â Every artist that I had talked to previously said they could not do the size that I preferred. Â I noticed on the wall, among the many awards, that Chris had won an award for the best Small Black & Grey Tattoo (exactly what I wanted). Â When I spoke with Chris and showed him the artwork I wanted and told him the size, he said No Problem! Â So I made an appointment. Â
In the meantime, he drew up the design that I showed him and was ready for me on the morning of my appointment. Â Everything went so smoothly and the final tattoo looks incredible!
I can't say enough about Chris and his great shop. Â The atmosphere there is the coolest in town. Â They obviously take sanitation very seriously, but the place is not like a medical facility. Â I will definitely go back when I am ready for another one.
Worst Experience Ever at a Tattoo place!!! My tattoo was completely done wrong and looks horrible!! Â My artist was over an hour late starting and was soooooooooo rude! I should of walked out but had heard such great reviews. Well, i am very disappointed and ashamed
of my tattoo and just got off the phone with Lone Wolf who thankfully is going to "try" and fix what he screwed up! There are parts that the lines are almost faded cause he didn't fill them in. The letter part of the tattoo looks the worst, he didn't even fill in the letters, all the A's look like U's. AND THE LETTERS BLEED TOGETHER!!!!!! seriously unhappy, please do not ever go there and ruin your body! go elsewhere! worst experience, rude artist, and terrible tattoo!
Some of my friends get tattooed here so when I came into town for a visit I stopped here to get a new addition to the small collection I have started.
The artist, Chris, set me up with a horse shoe and a banner that says, "Lucky Me", which may sound dumb to any of you, but it's there for a reason!
My appendix burst the summer of '07 and I was hospitalized for a week after being 12 hours from death, according to my surgeon. After my appendix was removed that fall, some tumors were found in time before they became something much more serious.

Anyway, Chris was a really nice guy and was very polite about curtaining off his space since this little number went on my behind!
Kustom Thrills is a tattoo parlor in East Nashville. Â In case you are reading this dad, no I don't have a tattoo, but I have been to Kustom Thrills. Â It is a little tattoo parlor that has a lot of character and is the type of tattoo place that would expect to see in Nashville.
I went with a friend who was getting a tattoo and had a pretty good time. Â It is crazy seeing people actually getting tattooed. Â It really looks painful! Â Even though I did not get a tattoo, I left Kustom Thrills with a really cool tee-shirt that bears the company logo.
