Legacy Arts Tattoo

CHRIS CLEMENTS!!!!!
I was referred to Chris Clements in 2010. He was at another studio then.. I was told he was very good at portraits. Good is not even a valued word for the art Chris creates. How about BAM!  Or EXTREME! I wanted to create a music montage sleeve. And not really being a sleeve kinda girl, I had specifics as far as size and placement...you know.....Ok I am picky!  I took all my photo's in and met with Chris and he SO GOT ME!

And thus our tattoo relationship started. My arm is a work of art! I will be sad when it is finished. But who really says finished in the tattoo world? Coz you know, Once you get 1 TAT, you always go back!  CHRIS CLEMENTS ROCKS!

He is talented, compassionate, professional, insane (in a good way, hey he's an artist).

UPDATE:  After the Half upper arm sleeve, I have 2 more from Chris. Never say you will only get one tattoo. Especially with talented artists like Chris!!!!

Ok, let me tell you what. I have received multiple tattoos from multiple shops around the area, and so I'd like to think I know what I'm talking about when it comes to tattoos. So, when I was researching local artists for a sleeve project, I had talked to a number of folks (I'm picky!). I checked out all of the artists' portfolios, which were all impressive, but decided to schedule a sit-down with Chris Clements, to discuss my idea. Now in my experience, when I talk to most tattoo artists about my ideas, they come across as too-cool-for-school, or uninterested, or just plain high-and-mighty. BUT, when I told Chris my idea, he became totally interested! We bounced ideas back and forth, feeding off of each others creativity, until we had a grand master plan! I immediately knew he was the one. So, I had him begin working on the idea. As I walked out the door, I realized that this guy is PASSIONATE about art! And that's what I was looking for...an artist as passionate about performing his art, as I was about receiving it. Chris is not just a tattoo guy, he is an artist in more ways than one. Fast-forward to present... For the past year, he has been working his artistic mojo on me.  All of the guys are super-talented, but have different styles, so your bases are covered. The art on my arm is breathtaking! I've gotten so many complements from it (and it's not even finished) that I've begun carrying Chris's business cards with me to hand out to interested folks. Long story short, when I signed up for the sleeve, I thought that was all I was going to get. But what I got was fantastic artwork and great new friends. GO HERE IF YOU ARE SERIOUS ABOUT YOUR ART!

Ok, Here's an odd review, I have never been to this shop (as of yet) but I know one of the artists very well, and his artwork is incredible. Go see Ryan. He's done work on me, my ex and various other people I have known and his own wife is a great representation of his work.
Ryan and his wife used to own their own shop and well, things change and now he works at Legacy.
Granted I am all the way up in Denton, but I will make my way down there sometime just to get more work done by him. That's how good he is.
