Loved this place! I got my first tattoo here from the owner Jen. It's her private art/tattoo studio. I really liked her. She created a very comfortable environment. Very easy to talk with and answered all my questions with encouragement. I didn't feel stupid or anything about asking about the process, pain, color and so on that sometimes I've encountered at parlors in downtown SLC. The space had couches and chairs, plants, artwork as well as the fold down chair she uses. She lit incenses and has altars for different deities such as Buddha and Vishnu, which for me as a pagan was great cause I was able to come in and do my own thing before hand. In her words it's sacred space! She did a wonderful job on the art work. I love the piece.

I showed her the design before hand and she spent a week creating one from hand. So it's her original work. For the use of the space and the original work, the price was worth it! I paid a set up fee of $60 and $120 and hour. It was an hour and fifteen on skin, which was $140 which meant I paid total of $200. All in all not a bad deal. Definitely a unique place and a much more personal artist. She really is interested in your work, feelings, emotions and why you want it. Jen said that she is an active part of the process as much as the client and only takes those with whom the artwork is something personal and free of hate/racism.

    Highly recommend!
