I am giving it 3 stars just on customer service. I came in to get my foot tattoo touched up and add more. Meg did a great job at what I wanted.. But she was just very odd.. Rude.. Distant. And the guy that was working behind the desk was rude. Someone called as me and a couple other people were standing at the desk.. He answered.. the ppl on the phone asked how much is the hourly rate. He told them and then as soon as he hung up... The guys goes.. I hate fu*^%!g bargain shoppers. You can say what you want but it doesn't look good in front of your paying customers.

A tattoo is a very personal thing and not a decision to be made lightly as we all know.  Finally figuring out what I wanted and then finding the artist talented enough to do it are 2 huge tasks.  I know for a fact that I accomplished both at Love and Hate.  I had a piece done by an artist at this shop a year ago and was thrilled with the work. I am currently working on finishing my right arm sleeve with Meg, the owner. He professionalism, talent and loveability all speak for themselves.  The staff is curteous and helpful.  This shop is not full of elitest tattoo artists who think their crap doesn't stink like most tattoo shops. I've recommended several friends there and will continue to do so.

Nice people and from what I can tell, good work.  But lacking follow through.  Guess I will need to go elsewhere to get the job finished
