Needle Masters Tattoo Studio

I was scared. Let that be on the record.

I wanted a tattoo and for all the wrong reasons. Mainly because it was cool. I consulted friends and drove everyone crazy with questions ranging from where to get it from to how much it would hurt.

So one late night during work, I decided that it was time. I looked at all of the tat places around Toledo and decided that Needle Masters was going to be the place.

The thing that sold me was that they guaranteed the work and they even won awards for being THE cleanest tat parlor in Lucas county. They even bragged that the health inspectors got tats from NeedleMasters.

But as they say, seeing is believing. Ads can lie, testimonials can be hyped and some people don't always tell the honest truth about things.

I went in and was greeted by my tattooist, Jose. I told him what I wanted and what I wanted to spend. He took the design I had and made it a lot better than I had drawn it, and being that it was within my price range, I went with it. Now came the hard part. The execution.

He had me wait for about 20 minutes while he prepped his work area. They he called me back. It was set up professionally, and he was wearing gloves and a mask. He had me sit down where he could do his work. I asked if it would hurt. He was honest, and I like that, saying it would a little, but I would get used to it. No painkillers.

It took a little more than an hour and when it was done it was fantastic. The only regret I have is that it is on my lower back where few people can actually see it. I hurt, but only on a scale of about 5 out of 10. Not too bad, and you know, I would do it again.

He gave me an aftercare pamphlet and told me to return if I had any concerns. It healed according to schedule, and today sits on my back as a testament to his skills as an artist. Would I go back? You betcha. I'm planning to add to my artwork on my back, and hopefully Jose can finish what he began. I will always use NeedleMasters and if you go there, you will too. As they say, a good tattoo isnt cheap, and a cheap tattoo isn't good.
