Steel Addiction

Came here on the recommendation of a friend, who has gotten pierced here countless times.  I only accompanied a friend, but did not get a piercing myself.  Still, I was with her from start to finish, and Steel Addiction was so good that it almost made me wish I was in the market for a piercing myself.

The worst part was the wait, due to the fact that only one guy was working.  Arguably it was a Monday night, so I feel like they are usually not so busy.  There was a group of 4 girls ahead fo us, so we had an hour or so wait.  

But before the wait, the guy working (Steve) took the time to show my friend a variety of jewelry and explain the price ranges and variations in quality.  We were not rushed at all.  We got the jewelery picked out and paperwork done.  After killing some time getting drinks across the street, we headed back.  Steve had her jewelry sterilizing and ready to go.  During the whole piercing process he was gentle, informative, made double and triple sure that the marking was exactly where she wanted it, and explained exactly what he was doing every step of the way.

When it was done, he ended up giving her $20 off the posted prices and gave some great advice for aftercare.  He was very apologetic for the wait, but we definitely understood he was the only one working, so his hands were tied.

Overall, a clean, well kept piercing studio, and Steve was just so friendly and put us at so much ease, I would definitely seek him out if I was looking to get pierced in the future.

This place is awesome. Ricky and Stephen really know what they're doing and they won't steer you wrong.

I even let them pierce my mom. Thats a pretty big deal.

People come in and complain that they are a little too expensive, but you get what you pay for. They use the highest quality jewelry available and sell it for a fair price. If you're going to have something inside of your body why would you settle for anything but the best?

Even better is that they don't actually charge a piercing fee.  You come in and buy a belly button ring, it's the same price to get pierced with it.

They're polite and knowledgeable and never ever condescending. I know it can be scary walking into somewhere like that for the first time but there is no reason to be at Steel Addictions.

I live in Texas now and I'm waiting to go home to get pierced because I trust them that much.
