Have been coming here for all my tattoos after my first experience at Sids tattoo parlor, which was not good. My brothers recommended Tom Clark who is amazing at what he does. He's always super open and honest, which I appreciate because I don't want something lame on my body forever. I get nothing but constant compliments on my tattoos and I love it.
There will be more, and I will only go to Tom from now on. All my family and friends that I have brought in will be coming back as well :)

Went in on Sunday with a recommendation from a friend to speak with Jordy-O. Gave him my reference material and he was off to go draw it up. I sat down not much later after giving the approval of his drawing and the stencil was on. Jordy and I talked a little bit, shot the shit, small talk but... i'm not one to really talk while i'm getting tattooed. He's quick, efficient, and my lines are all clean.

Cool dude, great experience, and a sweet tattoo.
    I can't complain and I'll be a return client!

First timer for a tattoo. Got it on the chest...a bit painful but all well worth it. The outcome was unbelievable. Ronnie Osuna was able to incorporate his ingenious skills and designed a piece that was well worth the price! Not only was the environment clean and well kept but the artists there are super nice and welcoming. If you're looking for a tattoo, please ask for Ronnie. You seriously don't know how smooth the process was. Awesome job!

I have had six sittings at Olde Tyme Tattoo with Jon Kelly. We met when he came into my work one day and we started talking about tattoos. From what I gathered he seemed very professional and knew what he was talking about. Needless to say this would become a huge understatement on my part.
I am extremely happy with the work he has done. Each time I go in with an idea of what I want and he blows my mind with what he comes up with (I have to remind myself its what he does for a living). His line work and shading are solid, accurate, and clean. I consistently get compliments on the work he has done. Every time a friend of mine wants work done I always recommend Jon and the guys at Olde Tyme.
As far as the shop in general goes I'm always made to feel comfortable there. This is done by the vibe the guys put off, the cleanliness of the shop, and the quality of the artist's work there. Long story short I couldn't be happier!

These guys are classically trained, but my tattoos don't fall into that theme, and they come out beautifully.   I'm glad I don't have to seek out an artist who's known for this or that, and I can go to a well-rounded shop and know the work will come out great!

    Ladies and Gentlemen,
Look no further, you have found your permanent tattooer. TOM CLARK is AWESOME!! In a state where tattoers are a dime a dozen he stands out from the crowd. Amazing work, can do any style you need. It's hard to find a tattoer that can master all styles. Great dude! You'll get some knowledge dropped on you when you get tattooed.

I've been thinking about getting a tattoo memorializing my dad after he passed away last April.  I walked in to Olde Tyme Tattoo with an idea of a tattoo which includes  roses, birds and a banner with my dad's name on it.  I described to Tom exactly what i wanted.   After a few sketches, Tom suggested we go a different route.  He explained to me in detail why my idea wouldn't work.  After some thought, I decided to go with Tom's idea, and I'm so glad I did.  The tattoo turned out amazing!  Beyond my expectations!!!

Tom was meticulous, careful and very relaxed.  I can't say enough good things about Tom.  Thank you, Tom, for an excellent experience and beautiful work.

My next tattoo with be at Olde Tyme Tattoo.

I have since had further work done by Ronnie and so has my wife. We couldn't be happier. He is a true professional and he is the one of the very few that I would trust to do work on me.

I also want to say that Mr. Kelly runs a very clean and professional shop. My cousin's wife had a small tattoo done on her foot and I think she said it best, "As a woman, I felt comfortable in the shop and will definitely be back."

Tom Clark was recommended to me by a good friend. I walked in the shop and didnt even introduce myself as having a mutual friend and started talking with him in regards to what I wanted for my piece. He was so down to earth and friendly! After throwing ideas back and forth between each other, not only did he design the most amazing tattoo I could have ever asked for, but he also made the experience very enjoyable. Ive been to several shops in the past and in most cases the atmosphere is not the most pleasant due to many factors. I will without a doubt continue going to see Tom at Olde Tyme or wherever his career takes him!

I came in for my fourth tattoo, my first not from my original artist. The shop is really clean and nice. Steve did my tattoo, and I'm so happy he did! He looked at what I wanted, went back and drew it up and got his area ready, and a few minutes later I was in the chair and he started working. It was over before I knew it, and it came out so much better than I could have hoped! I love my tattoo, Steve did a fantastic job! It was professional, quick, and the price was extremely fair. I would recommend this shop to anyone!

Thanks Ronnie ...

I came to Old Tyme based on reviews on yelp. I had a simple double infinity sign I had been wanting to get for years and was on vacation and decided to finally do it. Jordan was my tattoo artist and I wish I had turned around the second I witnessed his demeanor. Being that this was my second tattoo and that I have joined many friends in their sessions, I know that tattoo artists can be very condescending and overly cocky, but since I wanted this particular tattoo so badly and was set on having it that day I brushed the voice in my head aside. The tattoo itself should have been very simple. I gave him the photo I had pulled up from the internet and told him I liked the size it was but would not be opposed to making it larger. I would have rather had it larger and perfect that what I ended up with, which is why I vocalized this to begin with. He told me the size would be fine. He placed it on my hip but at a 45 degree angle. He got very angry when I told him that I wanted it just horizontal and straight. When he placed it again, I still wasn't one hundred percent happy so I asked him to move it again, to which he replied haughtily, "ok but this is the last time." Because this was such a simple tattoo that I didn't think could be botched I lay down and we begun. 6 months later I am left with a badly disfigured, somewhat blown out, and completely collapsed infinity sign that mostly looks like a blob. I am very unhappy with it. I understand that most tattoo artists have tattoos covering their whole body, so maybe to them, a small infinity sign is inconsequential. But, for someone who only has a couple small, hidden tattoos like me they want each one to be perfect. I would never recommend a friend to go to Old Tyme after my experience.

I've been going to Tom Clark for over three years now and I honestly can't praise him enough.  Every tattoo he's done for me has come out amazing and way beyond my expectations. He did a portrait on my forearm and the detail is so flawless it looks EXACTLY like the picture. Every time I go out I always get compliments on the tattoos he's done. I highly recommend him.

This past December, a friend and I walked in to Old Tyme to get tattoos we've been thinking about for over a year.

Firstly, I'll must admit 2 things: 1) I'm aware that I sign a waiver with a disclaimer about the results of the tattoo and how it may not look like the original and 2) my tattoo standards are high, as they should be.

I got my tattoo done, and left the shop pleased.  After reading great reviews about this particular artist, I thought that this design would be a cinch.  A few days later, I noticed the tattoo had "blown-out", meaning the hand of the artist was so heavy that the ink has spread out underneath the layers of skin.  Now what is suppose to be a clean, sharp tattoo looks as if the skin surrounding the tattoo is bruised.

In addition to the blow-out, there is little attempt at capturing the intricacies and fine line work of the original design.  For one, the lines are not even straight.

When I look at the tattoo I don't lose sight of what the tattoo signifies, and I guess, ultimately, that's what's more important in the long run.  I just wish I had a more careful hand.  I'm returning to California to get this tattoo salvaged by a trusted artist.

Tom Clark has been my artist for close to three years... his professionalism, classic-infused ideas, and gifting as an outstanding tattoo artist has made it all worthwhile in coming back time and time again. A sleeve and a half later, Tom has gone far above and beyond any expectations I've had, and have also enjoyed befriending him with each session. With it's great location, Old Tyme Tattoo's sweet and simple set up is sure to give you a exceptional experience - support this dude and this shop... you can't go wrong.

Was referred to Old Tyme by a friend of mine who has had a lot done by Ronnie.

I called and set up my appointment with Ronnie and he asked me what I wanted to get. He pulled it up on the Internet immediately and had it ready when I got to the shop. When I arrived, Ronnie was set up and ready to go. I have been to places and the artist wasn't ready for me or was fiddling around. I appreciated this. Also, I left work a little late and Ronnie wasn't bothered. The tattoo only took 30 minutes. I have had smaller pieces take longer at other shops. I attribute Ronnie's excellent skills and experience to the short time it took to do the work.  Once done we talked about after care and I talked to him about other pieces.

The entire experience was excellent. The shop is nice and clean. Pricing was excellent. Ronnie is an excellent, professional artist, and a great guy.

I will be back to get more work done!

I got my third tattoo today, and my first one at Olde Tyme Tatto earlier today, and I had a great experience. Steve is very professional, and really listened to my opinions. The parlor is easy going and not intimidating at all. When I know the design for my next tattoo I will definitely return. Thanks for the great service!

Olde Tyme Tattoo is a very clean and professional shop. All of the artist clearly take pride in their art and their craft.

I approached Ronnie Osuna to commission a substantial chest and shoulder piece. He took the time to learn about my wants and interests and quoted me a one week turn around to draw me something 100% unique. Ronnie completed my piece a day early and was able fit me in for my first sitting the next day.

I am 100% satisfied with my experience so far. Ronnie was personable, professional, caring, clean, and flexible to my needs. The rest of the artists all take an interest in each others work and learn from each other. I felt respected from the moment I walked in. I would recommend Ronnie and the rest of the boys at Olde Tyme Tattoo to anyone that is interested in QUALITY tattoo work.

I came here yesterday for the first time  for a dragon tattoo. The shop was very clean and the staff that was on hand were extremely friendly. They took us in right away.  I brought a design I wanted done and my artist Steve helped me make a way more creative and awesome piece. He was friendly throughout the whole process, made sure I was comfortable, and the art came out fantastic. I will definitely be coming back for more work and I highly recommend Steve!

I've never written a Yelp review, or any review for that matter, about any establishment before and I want to write my one and only one for this amazing tattoo shop. I came to Old Tyme to get my second tattoo, but I wish I had come here to get my first. I initially came with one tattoo in mind and possibly getting a quote for my next one. Little did I know getting both would be cheaper than my first tattoo at a different shop. They offered to do my tatoos the day of and for a mere 2 for $100. I was in utter disbelief. It was an offer I couldn't resist. The guys were extremely friendly and Jordan, my artist was not only professional throughout the process but extremely personable and easy to talk to. I felt a sincere connection with him and I will definitely go back to him or any of the wonderful artists at this shop for my next tattoo or tattoos. Best experience I've ever had & it made me hopeful that there are actually fair and honest tattoo artists out there who aren't just out to get your money.

I don't recommend this place... I went there to get my 1st tattoo, and I just got a flower the size of my palm. The tattoo artist Jordyo first asked the other artist if he wanted to tattoo me, but he said he had an appointment. So Jordy went in the back drawing a rose. The tattoo artist who had an appointment, his client arrived and basically talked for 30 minutes and left, and so he was free to do my tattoo, but he seemed lazy. After Jordy0 came out with a drawing, I didn't like the size of it and how it looked. I showed him a picture of a rose that looked like a real life rose, but he ended up drawing a little bit of his style which i guess is a traditional rose. So he went back to do it again. Came back I told him the size was too big, and the rose didn't look real. He then said with the shading and outlining he'll make it come to life. So I trusted him. And went along got my tattoo from him. During the process he didn't ask me if I was ok? or not. Asked if this was my first tattoo. And I said yes. It took I believe an hour or less. I looked in the mirror and didn't expect to see the rose to be just traditional. After I didn't say thank you or anything and he charged me $123.00. And  he told me the flower and the coloring would be around 120-50 dollars. A flower thats a size of my palms, and my hands are pretty small.... I feel liike he took advantage of me because this was my first tattoo. So I just paid  and left. He didn't ask if I was ok with my tat? if anything was wrong with it. He just didn't do anything. He really made me uncomfortable with my first experience getting a tat. Plus he wasn't dressed professionally. Just a big blue faded sweater and some baggy jeans. I shouldve followed my instincts and left but I was stubborn... ive been to other tattoo shops and my friend received a beautiful flower and honestly her amount and her tattoo came out reeally good. with the decent price.

Old Tyme Tattoo is by far the cleanest tattoo parlor I have ever stepped foot in and has the absolute best atmosphere. One minute inside and one immediately feels comfortable and at home. Jon Kelly is amazingly talented tattoo artist, as well as an awesome person whom is a pleasure to spend time with. His artwork is out of this world. He is an artist that truly cares about the quality of his work and strives to please his customers. He has the incredible ability to take one's idea and expand on it and customize it to one's liking and bring it to life in a way that exceeds one's expectations. Jon will take the time to talk to you about the tattoo idea you have in mind and honestly give you his thoughts and opinion on it in regards to location and design and works with you with patience to find the perfect tattoo. I was referred to him through my boyfriend, who's had most of his work done by Jon. I got my first tattoos done by Jon and can't wait to have more done by him. All of the artists in the shop are very talented artists and extremely friendly. Spending time in Old Tyme Tattoo is like spending time with family. The prices at Old Tyme are exceptionally good, especially considering the quality of work that is done by any of the artists. I wouldn't dream of having any work done anywhere but at Old Tyme Tattoo, and highly reccommend it to anyone looking for a great artist and tattoo shop.

Jon Kelly Rocks. I am one of the brothers that Michael C. references here. We have been in search for an artist that would put some talent and love into our "brotherhood" tattoo and found all of that and more. Jon changed the image four times for us before we got it done and was completely patient everytime. His work is great and we enjoyed the 10 hrs it took to get all four of us done. Jon made us feel at home. Well I would recommend Jon anytime. Very reasonable prices too...

My brothers and I brought a concept to Jon Kelly and he brought it to life. He was patient and very accommodating. Reworked the piece several times for us. This was my first tat and I was nervous but the process was easy and end product was off the hook.

Jon's good at what he does and humble as hell. He walked me through the process and explained aftercare. It was a pleasure having Jon work on me.

    Thanks Jon!!

I recently got my first tattoo and chose Olde Tyme.  I was very pleased with the cleanliness, and Ronnie was a very friendly, relaxed artist who did a wonderful job on my side/rib tattoo.  The price was cheaper than any place I had visited, but his work was wonderful.  If I get another tattoo, I am definitely returning to Olde Tyme.

If you want someone to take the time to explain your options and what would look best, help you adapt the look you want to the place you want it, and then do your tattoo the way you would expect it to be done by a talented artist who truly cares about the quality of what he does, then this is your place.

Jon has done every piece I've gotten since I found him, and I couldn't be happier with his work.  I once requested a very complicated and difficult work of art (a Picasso replica), and Jon did an expert job of redrawing the piece, then proceeded to spend about three times longer than he had expected to in getting it on my arm - and still charged me the originally quoted, and very reasonable, price.  It came out beautiful, and I still get compliments on it, as well as all his other work, every time someone sees it.

I, for one, will never get my tattooing done anywhere else, and am happy to make the drive from San Diego; it's more than worth it for the artistic integrity and plain old "treat your customers right" attitude that Olde Tyme Tattoo offers.  Gotta agree with Matt D. too, you'll definitely experience quite the eclectic smorgasbord of music while you're there, all of it worth listening to.

I've known Jon for a while and all my friends recommend his work, when he opened his own place we were sooo excited! All the artists here are super talented with an eye for art in everything they do. The place has awesome character, it's probably one of the few tattoo parlors where you might hear bluegrass music and death metal in the same sitting.

I've got plenty of proof they rock, and plan to get more!!

Most people who pay any sort of attention will take notice that there are a plethora of tattoo establishments in their own general vicinity.  Artists come in different shapes, size, and most importantly talents.  Obviously when it comes to a tattoo shop, the business aspect comes into play, which unfortunately can often hinder quality work in favor of money and a quick turn around.

Olde Tyme Tattoo is no such place.

The crew at Olde Tyme Tattoo have the utmost in artistic integrity mixed in with a professional, safe, and accommodating environment.  Having had much work done myself by the owner Mr. Jon Kelly, I can attest to the quality of artistic ability that is done.  What really sets Olde Tyme apart is the atmosphere of creativity and camaraderie.  You will never be without a laugh, a smile, and a new found knowledge of something.  I have never walked out of the shop without a smile on my face to go along with some amazing artwork.

As their slogan states, Olde Tyme is "Fullerton's Finest."  Truer words have never been spoken.

Get your art, your ideas, and your ambition on down to 2900 Brea Blvd. in Fullerton and come away with an experience you will never forget and long to enjoy the next time the ink bug strikes your fancy.
