Pacific Rootz Tattoo

I have been coming to Pacific Rootz since 09' and get work done by Samson. In my opinion he is the best tattoo artist on Maui. If your on vacation on Maui and you are interested in getting a tattoo, come to Pacific Rootz. You will not be disappointed.

I was referred here by a friend I met at the hotel I was staying at recently. I was told samson was the best and unfortunately was very hard to book. Low and behold, our new friend was able to book me just two days after i told her. Arriving with my wife, we found out that samson was being filmed all week for an upcoming documentary he was to appear in. In no time I was in the chair and and he began his masterpiece. There was to be no lines drawn or silly imprints of sketched photos. This all came from his heart and its quite obvious by the way it turned out. I told him a few things that i would like included and other than that he was to have free reign because i wanted a piece of his culture tattooed on me. I've been around the block when it comes to tattoos and tattoo studios so believe me when I say that samson and his studio are one of the elite. By the way, he's also one of the most intelligent and passionate people that my wife and I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He took care of us like we were his closest friends and did all he could to make my wife feel comfortable for the over 6 hours that she was there. Overall, if you are on maui and don't visit samson's shop then you are seriously doing yourself a disservice.

This place if so chill. Artists are amazing. Check out when you hit Maui. Their work is legit amazing.
